Artha, meaning prosperity, commonly associated with wealth or money, is one of the four prominent aspects of Sanatana Dharma (eternal truth).

Sanatana Dharma always emphasizes four aspects of life:

1. Dharma –

Your duty, inherent characteristics, or the qualities you need to embody according to your situation.


2. Artha –

3. Kama –

Balanced pleasure, which arises when one understands the meaning of life and learns to practice the true essence of Dharma and Artha.

4. Moksha –

Liberation or freedom from limitations or obsessions. Moksha is not something that is attained only after death. It involves breaking free from attachments or limitations, starting with the simplest ones. For instance, if you cannot start your day without a cup of coffee, that habit itself is a limitation. Overcoming it leads to encountering the next, deeper obsession or attachment. As you overcome these progressively, life itself becomes an experience of liberation or freedom. This is the essence of Moksha.
