Chapter 1

...........

The year was 5077...

Xavier had always been fascinated by the many mysteries of the vast universe. He had a knack for finding out things others had overlooked or simply ignored. He was not afraid to ask tough questions or challenge authority.

He had a reputation for being a young, fearless and quite formidable, freelance journalist, who exposed hidden corruption, scandals, and media secrets.

Having worked for several major news outlets, covering topics ranging from politics, crime, and technology, the media world knew he was well qualified.

And he won many awards and accolades for his work, but was never satisfied. Because he wanted to uncover the biggest story of his life, the one that would shake the world and change history.

There was a hunch that the key to that story was hidden in Area 51, the secretive military base in Nevada that was rumored to house alien technology and life forms.

He had spent years researching and then gathering information about the base, but he could never get close enough to confirm his suspicions.

The base was heavily guarded and highly protected by Darpa security systems. He also knew that anyone who tried to trespass or leak information about the base would face severe consequences.

๐‘ฟ๐’‚๐’—๐’Š๐’†๐’“

He had seen many of his colleagues and sources disappear or die under suspect circumstances.

But he was not deterred. He was determined to find a way to infiltrate the base and expose its secrets. He knew that he needed a cover story, a plausible reason to be there.

There was a need for a contact, someone who worked inside the base and could help him access the restricted areas.

He found both in Dr. Evelyn Carter, a brilliant scientist who specialized in quantum physics and bioengineering. She had been hired by Area 51 to work on a classified project involving alien DNA and breakthrough nanotechnology.

She was one of the few people who had access to the most sensitive and guarded secretive parts of the base.

Xavier met her at a scientific conference in Las Vegas, where she was presenting a paper on quantum entanglement. He approached her as a fellow scientist and journalist, expressing interest in her work and asking for an interview.

He charmed her with his intelligence, charisma, and humor. And also impressed her with his broad knowledge of science, quantum physics and alien theories.

Having convinced her that he was working on a book about the origins of life in the universe, and that he wanted to include her insights and opinions in it. He asked her if she could show him around Area 51, as part of his research.

Her privacy, he assured her would be respected and also the rights, confidentiality and security of the base. The only reason he was there was to learn more about its science achievements.

Dr. Carter was flattered by his attention and intrigued by his honest proposal. She agreed to arrange a tour for him, as long as he followed her exact specific instructions and did not ask too many questions.

She also warned him that he would have to pass a strict, rigorous, background check and top security clearance before entering the base.

Xavier gladly agreed to everything she said, but he had other plans in mind.

Having already hacked into her lap top and phone, and obtained copies of her private credentials and access codes.

He had also planted spy cameras and some hidden microphones in her office and car, so he could monitor her movements and conversations.

Yes, he was now ready to infiltrate Area 51, with or without her assistance.

Arriving at the base on a sunny morning in July, carrying a briefcase with his laptop and camera inside. He met Dr. Carter at the main gate, where she greeted him with a smile and a hug.

She introduced him to the security guards as her friend and trusted colleague, who was visiting for the day. She showed them her ID card and scanned her fingerprint on a biometric scanner. She then handed Xavier a visitor's badge with his name and photo on it.

"Here you go," she said. "This will allow you to enter most of the naval buildings on the base, except for the ones marked as restricted or classified."

"Thank you," Xavier said, taking the badge and pinning it on his lapel.

He followed her into a black SUV parked outside the gate.

"Where are we going?" he asked.

"To my lab," she said. "That's where I work on my special Area 51 project."

"What is your project?" he asked.

"I can't tell you much," she said. "It's very confidential."

"Can you give me a hint?" he asked.

She smiled coyly.

"It involves something out of this world," she said.

Xavier felt a surge of excitement.

Maybe he was about to see something that no one else had ever seen before.

Chapter Two

............

Dr. Carter drove Xavier to a large building in the center of the base. She then parked the SUV in a reserved spot and led him to a metal door with a sign that read

"Authorized Personnel Only".

She swiped her ID card and entered a code on a keypad. The door opened and she motioned for Xavier to follow her.

They walked down a long corridor lined with doors and windows. Xavier glanced through some of the windows and saw various labs and secret workshops, where scientists and research technicians were busy working on machines, computers, and specimens.

He saw things that he could not identify or explain, things that looked like they came from another world.

Wanting to stop and take pictures, he knew better and had to be discreet and careful. He did not want to arouse suspicion or alert anyone to his true intentions.

Dr. Carter motioned him to the end of the corridor, where she stopped at another door with a sign that read "Project X".

She swiped her ID card again and entered yet another code on a keypad. The metal door opened and she entered.

Xavier followed her into a dark room, where he heard a humming sound and felt a cold breeze.

He looked around and saw a large violet oblong cylinder in the middle of the room, surrounded by wires, tubing and spacial
monitors.

"What is this?" he asked.

"This is Project X," she said. "The reason why I'm here."

She walked over to a complicated looking, grey control panel and then pressed a certain button.

The cylinder lit up with a violet glow, revealing a glass window on its side.

Xavier gasped as he seen what was inside.

It was a female...

A beautiful woman with scarlet-purple hair. Brown skin that had glowing, lime-green highlights, and blue eyes.

The alien was wearing a clear translucent
material that hugged her curves, and she had a ancient silver necklace around her neck.

She looked like an angel, but she was not human, with pointed ears, slanted eyes, and four fingers on each hand, and four toes.

She was a female alien, alive, but yet was not awake.

Apparently, floating in a liquid that filled the cylinder, connected to wires and tubes that monitored her vital signs...

She was in stasis.

"Who is she?" Xavier asked, mesmerized by her beauty.

"She is Zara," Dr. Carter said. "She is
one of three survivors of an alien spacecraft that crashed near Roswell in 1947."

Xavier felt a shock of disbelief.

He had heard of the Roswell incident, of course. It was one of
the most famous UFO stories in history.

But he had always thought that it was a hoax, or a cover-up for something else.

He had never really imagined that it was true, that there really were aliens among us.

And that one of them was right in front of him.

"How is she still alive?" he asked.

"She has a very bizarre, advanced biology," Dr. Carter said. "Her cells can regenerate and adapt to almost any possible environment. She can also hibernate for long periods of time, without aging or deteriorating."

"What are you doing with her?" he asked.

"I'm studying her," Dr. Carter said. "I'm trying to understand her alien physiology, her unique genetics, her advanced technology. I'm trying to unlock her secrets."

๐‘ซ๐’“. ๐‘ช๐’‚๐’“๐’•๐’†๐’“

"For what purpose?" he asked.

"For the benefit of all humanity," she said.
And for the defense of our planet earth.

Xavier felt a pang of doubt.

He wondered what Dr. Carter really meant by that.

Was she trying to help Zara, or exploit her?

Trying to learn from her, or copy her?

Was she trying to protect Earth, or prepare for war?

He decided to probe deeper, can you communicate with her?" he asked.

"Not yet," Dr. Carter said. "But I'm working on it."

She pointed to a small device on the control panel that looked like a headset with electrodes attached to it.

"This is a neural link interface," she said. "It allows me to connect my brain to hers, and vice versa."

"Have you tried it?" he asked.

"Yes," she said. "But it's very difficult. Her brain is very different from ours. It operates on a higher frequency and has more dimensions."

"More dimensions?" he asked.

"Yes," she said. "She can perceive things that we can't. She can see well beyond space and time."

Xavier felt a chill run down his spine.

He wondered what Zara could see, what she knew, what she felt?

Could she be aware of him, sense his human presence, his earthly curiosity, and strong attraction.

As Xavier spent more time in the alien Zara's presence, a deep and profound relationship began to develop between them. Despite the language barrier and different origins, their bond transcended words.

Xavier found himself captivated by Zara's remarkable beauty, but it was more than just physical attraction.

She was a beautiful female being!

There was an air of mystery surrounding her, and Xavier was determined to unravel the enigma that was Zara.

In her slumber, Zara's face held a serene, calm expression, but Xavier could sense the deep turmoil within her. He felt a deep empathy for her predicament trapped in a foreign world, subjected to experimentation and isolation.

His heart ached for her, and he vowed to do whatever it took to set her free.

Xavier's initial fascination with Zara became rooted in love and blossomed into a profound soulfire that transcended every boundary of species and understanding.

There was a feeling within him. A desire to talk to her, to hear her voice, ahh...just to touch her skin.

He wanted to know her, feeling an urge to put on the neural interface and try to reach her mind,

But, it was too risky, perhaps too dam bold, dangerous. But by God, he had a mission to accomplish, a story to expose.

He reached into his briefcase and took out his camera and aimed it at Zara pressing the shutter and took a picture of the female alien.

Chapter Three:
...................

As soon as Xavier took the picture, an alarm went off.

The room was filled with red lights and sirens.

Dr. Carter turned to him with a look of horror and anger.

"What did you do?" she shouted.

Xavier realized that he had just made a serious, perhaps fatal mistake!

He had triggered a security system that detected unlawful, unauthorized activity and photography.

He had revealed himself as a spy, and had to get out of there fast.

Grabbing his camera and gear he race for the door.

Janking it hard, he failed to open it. My God, it was locked!

He looked for another way out, but there wasn't, it was blocked.

Dr. Carter followed him and grabbed his arm, "Give me that camera," she said.

"Now!"

Xavier pulled away from her and pushed her back.

"Get off me," he said. "You lied to me. You're not a scientist.

"You're a monster!"

Dr. Carter glared at him and reached into her pocket and drew a gun pointing it at his balls!

She glared, "Go ahead, make my day!"

"Your wife might divorce you after she
discovers that you're missing your precious, little penis and family jewels!"

"I'm not a monster," she said. "I'm a patriot! I'm doing this for the greater good. And you're not a journalist. Oh, you are just a sly traitor working for the enemy."

"What?"

"You're sick Dr. Carter, I think you might have been locked up inside this science laboratory, entirely too long. Something is seriously wrong with you!"

Xavier was stunned.

He did not expect her to have a gun, or to accuse him of being a traitor.

He decided to play along and try to get some answers.

"Who is the enemy?" he asked.

"You know who," she said. "The aliens. The ones who are coming to invade us. The ones who sent Zara as a scout."

Xavier felt a surge of confusion and angry disbelief, having not seen any evidence of any alien activity, except for Zara herself.

Or had never heard of any alien invasion, or any alien scouts.

He wondered if Dr. Carter was delusional, or if she was telling the truth.

Xavier decided to ask her directly.

"Is that true, Zara?" he asked, looking at the cylinder. "Are you a scout? Are you here to spy on us?"

To his surprise, Zara opened her eyes and looked at him.

She blinked and then smiled, and suddenly he heard a sweet feminine voice inside
of his mind.

"No," she said. "I'm not a scout. I'm not here to spy on your planet earth."

Xavier felt a shock of awe and wonder.

He realized that Zara had heard his silent question, and that she had answered him telepathically.

She was awake and aware of everything that was happening in the room.

He realized that he had made contact with her, and had established a unusual connection with her mind.

Chapter Four:
..........

Xavier felt a wave of joy and relief as he heard Zara's voice in his mind.

He felt a bond with her, a kindred spirit a relation that suddenly transcended words and all logic.

He felt that he had found his soulmate, his true love.

He wanted to be with her, to protect her, to save her.

Looking at her with love, admiration and affection, he smiled and spoke in his mind.

"Zara," he said. "I'm so glad you're awake. I'm so glad you're alive."

Zara smiled back and spoke in his mind.

"Xavier," she said. "I'm so glad you're here. I'm so glad you're kind."

Xavier felt a surge of emotion.

He wanted to hug her, to kiss her, to hold her, but he knew that he could not.

He knew that she was still trapped inside the cylinder, and that he was still in danger.

Damm, he knew that he had to act fast, before it was too late!

He looked at Dr. Carter, who was still pointing the gun at him, there was fear and hatred in her eyes.

It was obvious, she was ready to shoot him, to possibly kill him.

He knew that he had to stop her, to escape from this place and fight for his and Zara's life.

He decided to use his wit and courage.

He spoke out loud.

"Dr. Carter," he said. "You're making a mistake. You don't understand what's going on. You don't know who Zara is, or why she's here.

Dr. Carter snorted and spoke.

"I know exactly what's going on," she said. "And I know exactly who Zara is, and what she's here for. She's an alien spy, sent by an alien invasion force.

To scout our planet and prepare for an alien attack.

She's a threat to our security, our america sovereignty, our sheer survival. She's a evil enemy of humanity, and so are you."

Xavier shook his head
saying...

"No!" You're wrong. Zara is not a spy, or a scout, or a threat. She's a friend, she's here to help us, to teach us, to heal us.

Dr. Carter laughed, she said. "Don't insult my intelligence, or my patriotism. You're lying, or just plain delusional, or simply brainwashed.

You're a traitor of humanity, and a slave of Zara. Maybe under her control, or under her influence, perhaps under her spell.

"You're a puppet of the aliens, and you'll pay for your betrayal."

Xavier felt a pang of anger and frustration.

He realized that Dr. Carter was not really listening to him, or to reason, she was still blinded by her racial prejudice and paranoia.

She was well beyond any persuasion, logic or reasoning. He reached into his pocket and took out his phone.

He pressed a button and activated an app that he had installed earlier.

The app sent a signal to his laptop, which was still in his locked briefcase near the door.

The laptop turned on and connected to the internet via a satellite link. And quickly
accessed Xavier's email account and attached the picture of Zara that he had taken earlier.

His laptop composed an email with the subject line "Area 51 Exposed" and the only message "See attached photo".

Then the laptop sent the email to Xavier's editor, who was there waiting for his signal in a nearby hotel in the local town.

The editor received the email and opened the coded attachment. Seeing a picture of the female alien, Zara, he gasped in doubt and awe.

The editor realized that Xavier had done it, that he had found a real live alien at the Area 51 secret underground base.

The editor who's name was Tom Mason, decided to publish the picture online, on social media, on TV, and on radio as well.

He decided to share the picture with the world, with everyone who could see it or hear about it.

Yes he, Tom Mason was going to have the biggest journalist story in the history of mankind!
