Wives giving their husband a free-pass.I am sure the history of time this has happened. I believe they even made a movie about this. If you look at the real reasons behind a husband or wife cheating it goes beyond the physical act itself. It is lying, deceit, disrespect. The loss of self-esteem the other person suffers. The foundation that your marriage was built on all a sudden seems like it meant nothing to one of you. Like it is crumbling in. You both had a special bond. You were a unit, as much as one as two people could be. Sharing your life with each other. All of your fears, hopes, dreams, any little thing you couldn’t tell another soul on earth you shared with this person. So when they invite someone else into a relationship without your knowledge or consent. It's an act of betrayal at the highest level. Not to mention the level of pain and hurt it causes the other person who believed their relationship to be all of those great things. Now if your partner gives you the ok to find someone and have a sexual encounter with them. I wouldn’t even define that as cheating. None of the above-mentioned actions are taking place. The other person is fully aware of what is happening and is in agreeance with it. Which is not crazy. It is just a physical act. Some people see it as just that. Everyone is different and even if you don’t agree with the way they do things or they're believes that does not mean they are wrong in their choices. If the other person is fully aware of what is going on and is giving their blessing. That is not really considered cheating. If they have a strong enough bond and relationship to withstand something like that and they feel it will help their relationship. Then no harm no foul. It’s a personal preference. It should be respected for their’s and not our own.
