The Holy Sisters 4/4: Secrets In The Mansion

When Paula looked out the room, she saw Shana walked into another room. Paula left the so-called congregation room to speak with Shana and tell her the 6 sisters are up to something. She knew Shana would not believe her because she has put her trust in this family for years and is too blindsided to see the Holy Sisters' true colors.
"SHANA," she called out. Shana turned around before going into the other room.
"Hey girl, you having fun? How are you enjoying this?" Shana asked.
"It's exciting," Paula lied. "Where everybody else at?"
"They outside. Girl this is a big mansion," She said.
"The pastor too?" Paula asked.
"Yeah he's out there too, he's about to come in a minute to preach," she informed.
"Preach where?" Hopefully not in that sinful congregation room Paula thought.
"In the congregation room," she said.
"Shana, that room ain't no congregation room if folks dancing in there, and that DJ playing hip hop songs," Paula informed.
Shana gazed at Paula for a second, and ambled close to her, and whispered in her ear. Paula did not know what was coming. "I know girl, but don't say anything. Keep this between us... The sisters showed me that room earlier when we first got here...And as soon as I walked in there... I wanted to get outta there because whatever that is going on in that room isn't God. I'm very disappointed in Trina, and her sisters. I thought I knew them... I know I haven't seen Trina in 7 years, but she's changed big time. I saw the change in her when she came outside the mansion when we got here. Look at what she had on. All my life knowing her as a kid Trina never wore anything tight, ever since her family got this mansion and started living large. That's when the change kicked in. Paula, I don't even want our pastor to be here. He doesn't even realize how unholy this house is. So you're right. That ain't no congregation room. That's the devil's room."
"Yeah, it is. Finally, someone is on my side. Thank you, Jesus," Paula praised.
Shana being the leader and the Evangelist of the church has never spoken to Paula in that manner. Sharing her thoughts and feelings of her personal life. To Paula, Shana felt more like a friend than someone's Evangelist. Usually, Shana is more serious, and silly when it comes down to serving our pastor. But at that moment, Shana felt like a sister and a friend who Paula could count on. Shana is 46 and Paula is 25 years old. She knew she was just a child in her eyes just starting in the church world. Even though Paula was young, she do take God seriously.
"Shana, I wanna go home. Please get us out of here," Paula said, with her arms folded.
"I know you do. And I do too, but we must follow the pastor's lead on this since he is here with us," she said.
"I know. But can I tell you something?" She asked eagerly.
"Yeah."
"Earlier before I went in the congregation room, I saw the 6 sisters in that room right there," Paula said, while she turned around and pointed towards the room. "They were talking about some ritual stuff they go have us do."
"What? Maybe they are preparing for communion," Shana suggested.
"Imm... I didn't think of that. But it's not what they said, it's how they said it. Like in a very evil tone. Dominique was being demanded about it. And I heard Trina bring up your name talking about you behind your back," Paula gossiped.
"What?" She asked.
"Do you want me to tell you?" She asked.
"Girl, everything is out there now. I need to know because I know she's changed," she said.
"Well, I heard her saying to her sisters that she doesn't care about you anymore. You her friend, and she doesn't even care what happens to you."
"Wow, I see. That's what she said about me?" She asked.
"Honest to God Shana," Paula said.
"I've been knowing that girl since childhood, she goes say that behind my back, but ain't woman enough to say it directly to my face."
"That's what hypocrites do girl," Paula trembled her head.
"If she was a real Christian, she would be direct with me, but she ain't," she said, aggravated.
"Shana, this whole family is a show-off," she commented.
"I know. I've just about had it with this family now. See now I'm ready to leave... See, I don't want to go there... They starting to make the living flesh get a whole of me. I don't want that to happen," she said, uneased.
"We need to do something," Paula insisted.
Shana concurred with her statement.
