Hope
In my life, I faced many adversities but what got me through the storms of life is the only true hope of the world, Jesus himself! When I hear the name Jesus, I feel so hopeful!
To realize that Jesus has got my back, overwhelms me. One of the most difficult moments of my life was when I was about to die due to me developing fat embolism. I had to be immediately put on a ventilator. This is my real life story.
The doctors and nurses didn't tell me initially that they would need to put a pipe down my throat to help me to breath, otherwise I would get into a state of schock. They didn't tell me I have to be put on the ventilator until just the moment before they were going to put me on the ventilator.
I was allowed to see my family. It could be for the last time. I can recall my little brother Yesh, who was only five at the time had come to see his sister. I smiled at him and told him that I was going to get better for him!
Then I recall the moment the ventilator was installed into my throat. It felt so uncomfortable. I was in the ICU for over a month. I began to deteriorate, as my tissues were dying. The doctors notified my mother. She then called my pastor, who began chain prayers. This meant every person in my church took turns to pray for me by the hour, even throughout the night.
Other churches also uplifted my name to the heavens and then a pastor from my church had a vision of the hand of God, who came down from heaven and gently gave me a gentle touch on my chest and this hand of God arose back into the heavens and at that presise moment I recovered. The doctor called my mum and told her I am recovering. They are soon going to remove the ventilator.
So the moment came when they removed the ventilator and I took my first breath by myself and because of the most kindest God. A God of miracles. I'm alive today because of my belief in Jesus Christ. When doctor failed to help me because the chances of surviving fat embolism is very rare, one in a million people survive this, God stepped in!
Today I'm so lucky to be alive because the only true hope of the world, Jesus loved me so much to save me. All blessing and honour goes to my God for saving my life!
My advice to the world, is never give up on God! Always have hope no matter what you have to endure and you will be rewarded by God himself because those who overcome shall be rewarded even during the second coming of Jesus! Oh, how I long for that one sweet day when I will see Jesus face to face. I will tell him, thanks so much for saving my life, for not allowing me to perish. I just wanted to share my real life story as a testimony unto others so you to will have hope no matter what you go through! Hossana! I praise God always!
