I genuinely fear becoming my mother. I fear marriage because I don't want a miserable partnership like she had with my father. I have one child because she was unhappy with the 5 children she birthed. I work hard because she didn't work at all at one point. I find happiness in the things she's never done because I am simply my own human being who will do better than what was shown to me as a child.
