Growing in life is important and it is something we must do. Every journey has a beginning and an end. Moving from one to place to another is another way of learning and seeing new things and to have new experiences. We come face to face with our fairy tales and we get to learn new experiences whether sweet or bitter, we learn to live by and face the opportunities tomorrow brings life and light through journeys. Though this journey can be filled with negative and positive experiences, our main focus is to reach our final destination. Most often, it is the experience of a journey that one makes a scope of seeing things differently and learns profusely. One must take every opportunity of a journey to grasp knowledge and learn new things because the road of life is wide and has a lot of surprises. My people use to say; ‘onye njeje na aka onye isi awo ama ife’; which says; “who travels is more experienced than a gray hair man”. I believe that, when we travel, we grow and life is a journey, an unavoidable journey. Whichever way we want to go, we travel and the path we choose lead to our destiny.
