BloodWritten Chapter-III. [The Darkness]

Saghaar feels conscious with the radiant sun at his face, burning all the frozen ice out of his numb brains; he is sighing hard with his heart in his mouth.

He is feeling cold as his arms protest in aroused hairs.

He tries to open his eyes but Alas! the darkness has prevailed over his rusty vision.

He shouts and falls unconscious from his cot tasting the bitter depths of an endless night.

After a while; he hears the footsteps approaching, tears are rolling as if trickling drops of dew from his buldged eyeballs.

He calls out, who is that!? (in a stammered tone)

Your new maid, sir! (announces a woman)

Where is my daughter?

She is safe, she is in my house.

For how long have I been unconscious?

For almost 4 weeks now, sir.

What happened! How did I? He chokes with his words sighing hard, gnashing his teeth while he feels a warm hand on his forehead.

He said whispering; help me, I don't want to live like this. Please help me!

The maid said; I don't understand, perhaps I'll inform the villagers.

She started to leave while he said in a hurry; please, please, please don't go.

I neeeeed.....I beg you to help me get out from this endless dark. There! Look for my sword.

The maid refuses and tries to hush him down.

The bravest of warriors, a broken heart and now without the sight; it seemed like an end to his story.

The maid said again; sir I'll inform the others, they'll come & help you.

Saghaar replies; I don't require any help, you know who I am! Bring my daughter, but you dare don't tell anyone about my conscience.

The maid leaves.

Saghaar tries to search for his sword, knocking things down and falling to the floor, he weeps his heart out until he feels his hand over a wooden box while the maid and his daughter enter the hut.

Who is that, announce yourself; shouts Saghaar with a wooden box pointed towards them.

The maid replies; it's your daughter sir.

He rushes to his daughter and embraces her. His daughter's eyes are but more glued to the decorated wooden box as she takes it from his hand.

She opens it and a scroll falls down onto the floor.

The maid came closer and said;

Sir, the box you were holding has a 'BloodWritten' scroll in it.

Saghaar; what!!!

He seems shocked and asks; what.....does it Say!?

Maid; sir, it says ''by boat''!!!

New shivering of hope & fear swells him down onto the floor. The lost strings seem to be enforced again on his pinkish face. He stands and makes it firm; you've to help me, reach the city.

The maid looks mute and turned, into the vibe of the great Saghaar but she is confused and worried about it all........
