THE CHASE OF DESTINY AND THE SPEAR OF CURSE

It's common to hear that the complexity of our mother nature is broken down into 5 basic elements , them being - The Earth, water, air, fire and space.
These elements were then absorbed by the land , making them an inseparable part of itself. And then came the humankind. They enclosed the land containing their desired element and made them an indispensable part of their empires as well as people.
Now, this world is segregated into 4 empires.
The Sol empire, that tamed the Earth element since ages ago.
The Acqua empire, that made peace with the Water element.
The Sonorus empire , that rules over the element of Air.
The Blaze empire, that has control over the Fire element.
Lamentably, the empire ruling over the element of space is yet to be known to the mankind. But then again when have humans ever admitted defeat against anything. So, to pull the curtains off the incomprehensible truth about the mysterious empire of space , all the other 4 empires joined hands.
It was on that one fateful night when they were bold enough to try and provoke the creater of the elemental nature. They forcefully awakened the diety and in turn, were blinded by a golden and gleaming light that seeped through the clouded sky and a thunderous voice rang through their ears.
It quoted , " The one who holds the will
to travel through history,
new age and the unknown.
The one who tasted the bitterness of defeat,
the sour taste of betrayal but was healed.
The one who holds the determination,
with the devil, to hold hands
is the one to unveil this glorious land."
Even after all these years have passed, when anyone laid out their doubts about the hidden land of space, the people parroted the same quote that was told to them by their ancestors and the witnesses.

The Sol Empire (North East)
The sun shone beautifully upon the land of earth today as well. The birds and insects were out of their hides to catch a glimpse of the wonderful golden rays. But, there was something in the air that smelt sour. The usual sweetness of the soil and flowers was left somewhere far behind. The hustle - bustle of the market turned into whispers. Something that was rarely seen in the empire. But then again , it was not a regular occurrence that the commoners were summoned to the royal court.
They were worried; of course why wouldn't they be ? if the matter was serious enough to be demanding their presence in the royal court, then it must be of utmost importance. People were in the market, whispering about their suspicions of what ifs and what nots while they shifted from shops to shops, busy finding suitable dresses to present themselves in the royal court. They didn't have much time on their hands other than these 21 hours before they leave for the royal palace.
The only way to quench their thirst of curiosity was reaching the royal court and witnessing the matter for themselves.
