Learn To Love
Today we don’t know how to love. First of all we don’t know how to love ourselves. Vanitha was a teen age girl. For her drinking water was like eating a bitter guard. Once Vanitha's mother was eating. The water she brought got over. So she called Vanitha and said, “ Vanitha, bring me some water dear. The water I brought was not enough.” Vanitha in reply said, “ Mom, I myself not yet drank a drop of water after I had finished eating. Go mom. I’m busy with my homework. You go, get and drink mom.” Vanitha's mom controlled her anger and stood up to bring some water. Vanitha’s mother many times warned Vanitha about dehydration and its result. Yet Vanitha didn’t obey. Less consumption of water resulted in UT infection. Vanitha suffered a lot. Doctor warned her saying, “ If you love your body and health drink more water . If not it will become a serious issue for you.” After that bitter medication and doctor’s pills, Vanitha got her good sense back. From then on she drank enough of water after every meal and also practised to keep drinking water near her mom at every meal. Many times we don’t know to love ourselves. Then How will we learn to love others?

The Bible says, ‘Love your neighbour as you love yourself.’
If we don’t know what we need, how will we meet other’s need? If we don’t know to love ourselves, how will we know to love others?
