☑️ ▶️ PROMISES AND LIES
*PART - 11*
(Mystery Text)
One night, a feeling of uneasiness and the need for fresh air woke Seza up. She thought it was 4:00 A.M., but it was only 1 A.M. She got out of bed and had some water. She couldn't sleep; she tried hard but couldn't fall asleep. She kept thinking about the movie she had watched before bed. She remembered a line from the movie that said, "If only there could be an invention that bottled up a memory, like a scent. Just a small spray, and the mind would relax into happy times without effort." Seza thought to herself, "Memories can never be bottled up to be cherished again. They can only be created by smiling and laughing while making more in this short span of life."
Beep! Seza's phone buzzed; it was a text message from an unknown number. The text simply read, "I need you." There was no name or contact details. Seza texted back, "Who is this?" There was no response. She thought it might be a wrong number. Upon checking, she found that the text was from someone named Avin. Seza tried to call the number, but to her surprise, it was not reachable since that message. The name Avin echoed in her brain like a loud bell, ringing in her ears and leaving her numb and dumbfounded. She remembered that Avisel had mentioned his nickname was Avin. Seza quickly blocked the number and deleted the text.
Seza went to her class and shared the incident with her friends. Artrav, as usual, was making fun of her while she was trying to have a serious conversation. Seza got annoyed and scolded Artrav for not taking her seriously. During the break, Seza was working when Artrav tried to distract her. She resisted his distractions, but he pulled her neck, causing her to cry out in pain as she experienced neck spasms. Arshana came to her aid, massaging her neck and helping her move it, but the pain was excruciating. Seza didn't speak to Artrav for the rest of the day. He tried to apologize, but she remained silent.
Upon returning home, Seza's pain intensified, and she couldn't bear it any longer. Her parents took her to the hospital. After returning from the hospital and lying in bed, she noticed her phone had 30 missed calls, all from Artrav. She turned off her phone and went to sleep.
