Listen to me, I gotta tell you a tale
Of a wild night out, beyond the pale
I hit up this club, just to have some fun
But little did I know, what was to come

I walked in with money, ready to spend
Asked for a drink, to help me ascend
The bartender poured, the best in the house
Little did I know, I was in for a rouse

I looked around, taking it all in
When a lady caught my eye, with a mischievous grin
She beckoned me over, with a sly little wink
But I turned my back, didn't want to think

She handed me a drink, it smelled so sweet
Took a sip, and I was swept off my feet
Lost in a haze, I couldn't resist
Before I knew it, I was in her midst

I woke up the next day, with a shock
She lay beside me, saying she wanted to talk
About love and babies, I couldn't believe
I must've been dreaming, it was hard to perceive

I scrambled to leave, feeling overwhelmed
She begged me to stay, said her heart had swelled
I had to get out, this was too much
I couldn't handle her, with her crazy touch

So I made my escape, leaving her behind
Promising myself, to never be so blind
To fall for a stranger, with wild eyes
I learned my lesson, to be more wise

So listen to me, and heed my warning
Don't get caught up, in the heat of the morning
Keep your wits about you, and stay on track
Or you might end up, with more than you can handle, that's a fact.
