John was looking down and now he looked in her eyes and took her both hands and samiled like he won't come again to see her .They were seeing each other after a year ,sitting in a balcony on the floor and it was night and chilly winter ,whatever it was night and winter and floor was cold but they were just looking at each other with tearful eyes and their love was making them an ice sculpture .
''Let me shed my tears while I am here and can yet see your face, because then my tears will bear the reflection of your sweet face as though they are stamped with your image; and being coined in your mint( your presence) they will have their value as genuine coins. In this way my tears will contain you; they are the product of intense grief ( at our parting) and forbode to more grief to come ( because they bear your image , if any one of them falls, it "will mean that you " will also fall along with it, you who were the cause of it. And thus we are in different countries, the sea dividing us, my tears and your image will both perish and will be reduced to nothing.
