Chapter 5

''Honey I'm travelling to the US with my wife for a babyshower.I don't know how long we will be there.Please I'm sending you my colleague.He will show you around town.I know you don't want to believe this but I can't help the situation.''

I woke up by ten in the morning to read this horror from him.I burst into tears.I was very angry.I felt like shouting.
On his birthday he will be away with his wife.Babyshower indeed.
My mind police had warned me about this.
I felt so sad suddenly.I had been abandoned in Italy by my lover .I knew nobody.What if he never came back till after a month?
What will I do in here all alone?
Who was this colleague he was to send?
My phone rang.
"Hello this is Collins I'm a colleague to Him.He asked me to take you out till he comes back from the US.Are you ready to visit Milan tonight?''

''I'm a little feverish but I'll be happy to.'' I answered.

'' Ok I'll pick you up by 6Pm.Get ready.''

"Alright ,deal.'' I said.

I was happy to see the streets again.But I had imagined this otherwise.Very romantic.A hand in hand walk with many hugs.I felt so upset.

Six pm was here My phone rang again and Collins was waiting for me downstairs.
I put on a blue jeans , a white tea- shirt and a brown pullover offered to me by him.It was my way of having him close.A pair of rose canvas and off I went.
The street was busy.Collins was over there waving at me.
A white?
I was not ready for this.He actually looked gorgeous in his dark slim trousers and his velour overboard.
I smiled and went towards him.
A man came out of the car and opened the door for us both.I was so much impressed by the comfort inside the car.I knew nothing about cars though.

I can't believe this is happening to me.I'm in love and I'm scared.
