THE RAILWAY STATION
Aditya never wanted more than now to go to his home town. He remembered how beautiful vizag’s beaches were. But he resided in Hyderabad because of his job. Hyderabad hasn’t been bad but he too does not know why he liked his hometown more. He could do nothing but to pack his bags for the meeting he had to attend in Bangalore. He was heavy-hearted but he couldn’t do anything. The worst part is that he is not even important in the meeting but his boss pressured him to attend anyway. The train was at 6.40 the next day. Aditya decided to sleep early as the train was in the morning.

The train’s horn was loud. The railway station was crowded even in the morning. Aditya was running down the stairs holding a phone over his ear and said in a rush “YES , MOM. Just arrived at the railway station.”.
“You haven't changed, have you?!"."Why are you late?"roared Amma. Aditya was still sleepy but running across the railway platform . He came to platform 4 with utmost difficulty. But he couldn’t see the train. The train had already left ten minutes early. He couldn’t move. Maybe because of the drowsiness or the irritation that he had missed the train just by a few minutes. He sat at the nearest bench he could find. He could sense the smell of food from the store beside. But he was in no mood to eat or drink. He took a deep breath and tried to relax.
The rectangular clock hanging to the ceiling showed “6:41 AM”.

[ Time is relative ,they say. It must be infinitesimal , for the grandparents returning to their home after spending some amazing time with their children and grandchildren. Or is it infinite?, for the wife who is sitting in the next bench anxiously waiting for his husband to return from army after a year.
It doesn’t matter. Not only for me, but also the 8yr old in-front of me wearing his first Spiderman mask and shooting his webs everywhere. Might the thread holding the mask to his face need some of the webs to make it not fall off. “Uncleji ! Mein help karoon?” Said teenager With the happiest smile because he was in excitement of his first journey with his friends. His eyes of innocence and happiness did manage to get the uncle’s trust. “Ha Beta!” Replied the grandpa without the slightest thought of losing his luggage to a stranger . They both came down the stairs to the same platform chuckling & discussing their journeys. Meanwhile a woman holding a baby came and sat beside Aditya on the same bench. She pulled the tiny milk bottle from the baby’s mouth and kept inside her bag. The baby was drooling drops of milk. Maybe the tummy full of milk made the baby get to sleep immediately. Still not the happiest part. In just few minutes, the baby started chuckling. ]

The longing to go meet his mother and his hometown started to raise again. He heard a train’s horn. It distracted him for a moment. The train slowed and came to a halt. He noticed the railway board and realised that it goes through his home town. ( Should I go? Can I? )
He boarded the train . He started to feel the same excitement like the teenager who helped the grandpa. And started looking for an empty seat. And Amma called again. “ Did you catch the train?”.
“i boarded ma.“ replied Aditya. “Did it come on time ?” Asked Amma. “Haa” replied Aditya.
