Tai Ho lay in a critical condition, prompting her to drop the coffee mug and rush out to make a phone call, her body shaking with rage. "What the hell have you done? You absolute idiots! You've shot the love of my life! I'm going to have you squeezed to death, wait for my wrath upon you morons!" She hung up without waiting for a response and drove as fast as she could to Bridget Hospital, her anger fuelled by her men's stupidity.

Upon arrival, she signed every necessary document and was informed that the man who brought Tai Ho had gone home to inform his wife and grandfather. She was also told that a police signature was required due to the attempted murder, but she lied about being Tai Ho's wife and met with the director. She ordered Tai Ho's treatment to be transferred to her home on Alexis Street, where every necessary piece of equipment and doctor was called upon to tend to his health, all without her mother's knowledge.

Meanwhile, Old Man Gu and Isabella were worried as they couldn't get in touch with Tai Ho. They reported the incident to the police, but there was no sign of him. Isabella became increasingly worried and cried, refusing to eat. Old Man Gu tried his best to console her, but Isabella's heart was heavy with worry for Tai Ho.

Lilly met with the man who brought Tai Ho and silenced him with money, instructing him not to inform Old Man Gu and Isabella. However, news eventually got to them, and they rushed to the hospital, only to be informed that Tai Ho's "wife" had taken him, but they had no address. They left in a pitiful manner, praying and searching everywhere, but there was no sign of Tai Ho. Even the police closed the case, telling them to remain calm, but Isabella's persistent nagging about finding him led to her being sent away and threatened with being locked up if she created another scene.
