I and Max just made it to the meeting house (let's just call it that for now) when we got inside I had max sit down on the couch while I go get some refreshments.

When I got back to the living room and sat the refreshments down on the coffee table I heard the front door open and smelt the most amazing scent ever.

My mate

I quickly ran and jumped right as he turned the corner to the living room. Luckily he has fast reflexes so he caught me in his arms and kissed my forehead.

Then he walked to the love seat and sat down with me still koala hugging him. Then he said

"Jack come sit down they won't bite especially my mate"

Then he kissed me while whispering 

"Mine"

In my ear loud enough for the others to hear. Then Max said

"So this is your mate?"

"Yea, he so handsome and sweet"
