A Sinister Dream
Melanie awake from her sleep and notice that the clock strikes one. She felt thirsty so she drank a glass of water and tried to recall what she had seen. It was a sinister dream.
In her dream, she saw a beautifully decorated aquatic park. A cool breeze was blowing all over. There were many different types of water rides. All people were enjoying in the water pool with their family. Children were playing and splashing water. Some people went to the water tunnels and carried a big tube up the stairs and waited in a long line. Then they put the tube down and sat on it. At the count of three, their tube started to move down the slide. It was dark inside the tunnel so children were screaming loudly. After a few moments, they came to a drop and fell down into the pool of water. They all laughed as they got off the tubes. Everything was going well while she noticed that some people were screaming loudly. They were drowning.
"I should go for a walk. Maybe I will be able to sleep better," she thought. So, she went to the balcony and took a short walk. After 30 minutes, she returned and sat on the couch to rest. Gradually, she drifted off to sleep.
Next day, when Melanie sat down on her breakfast table, her mother told her," Today will be day's out for us. We will visit an aquatic park." Melanie became ecstatic. It had always been a dream to visit an aquatic park and now finally it would be possible. Mike, her brother was jumping around in excitement. Both of them became very happy. Little did they know what would happen there!
By 10 a.m., they reached at the magical land of Aqua Park. The moment they reached at the ticket counter, Mike was hopping. He started getting restless to wait. Then they entered for their awaiting aquatic adventure with their family. As soon as they entered, the beauty of the place welcomed them with a cool breeze on their faces. Then Melanie started exploring everything.
Melanie felt that she had seen this water park somewhere. Mike and her parents were in the long line. That's when she remembered. She had seen this very same aquatic park last night in her dream. Suddenly, she became very pale. Seeing her, her mother remarked, "What happened dear? Aren't you happy here?" Melanie said, " Mom, we can't touch the water!" Being surprised, her parents asked her the reason. So, Melanie told them about her sinister dream she had seen. Her parents did not believed her and laughed. But, she was still forbading them to go into the water pool. Mike became angry at Melanie because he was restless to enjoy into the water pool. However, Melanie kept arguing with her parents for almost 15 minutes. Suddenly, they heard a loud splashing of water, followed by crying. They looked at the pool and get shocked to see that an electric wire has fallen on that pool. Later, they found out 13 people were dead. "Melanie, your dream warned us. If you had not argued with us, we would have been into that pool," said her father.
