I read an article on Fireflies and came to know about this fact...

Some fireflies aren’t all that captivating, at least not female fireflies. They employ their lights as a ploy to devour the males.
The naïve males move towards them hoping to find a mate but instead find death.
By eating the males, they consume a defensive compound which helps to deter predators such as
spiders from eating them.

This prompted me to read more about females who are a threat to males after sex and found out these facts.

SEXUAL CANNIBALISM
The female praying mantis to ensure the survival of herself and her offspring kills the male.

Black widow spider devours the male after mating hence the name widow.

Sex Is Suicide for these males

Red kaluta is a marsupial found in Australia. These males die shortly after mating.

And my curiosity led me to...

The adult male butterfly dies six to eight weeks after all of the sperm has been depleted from their body.

AND NATURE KNEW HOW TO GIVE WOMAN HER STATURE
