Zoe shakes hands with Caleb and says,'' Zoe is mine.'' And dashes off to class leaving him and the group behind.She's at the class block and there is this girl standing facing the walls and crying,being a soft hearted girl,Zoe gets closer to her and asks her what the problem is and the girl says,'' I don't need anyone's pitty or help,just leave me alone please!'' and walks out on Zoe .Without a decision to take on ,she continues on to her class and meets a teacher in front of a class and stops with intentions of asking for the room she's to get in,'' Good morning ,mam ,I'm new here and I just wanted to ask where to go to cause am in the arts class ,literature and the teacher says,'' You are in the right place,Zoe, right?, I was informed about your coming and I was wondering why you hadn't come yet,but now that you are here,this is your class and were are glad to have you around,I'm miss Cathy ,get in.
She's then directed to sit next to Troy the most lonely student in the class as everyone sees him as a freak,dressed in some dirty kaki shorts ,uncomed hair ,and glasses on his eyes and this makes him shy around people since he's always made fun of.
''Hi there,Zoe tells him.What's your name?.I'm Zoe ,I talk a lot and you should get used.He replies,Its OK again am ,Troy ,you are welcome to our school.
The lessons begin and they do a lot of writing ,drama and Zoe enjoys her first class with Mrs Cathy and the bell gongs for break ,Zoe remembered Caleb's words and the rushes out stands on the stairs on the look for Caleb since she told Troy about it and he asks her to meet Caleb so she's not embarrassed and she's on it.
She catches sight of Caleb and runs down to meet him,'' Hey,hey,Caleb wait.I'm here.'' Hahahahaaa!! Caleb laughs together with his friends ,'' I told you to look for me and you did well,nice.So the deal is my baby girl Natalie is always so dramatic and I want you to replace her cause I've already got rid of her,so you are now my girl,hottie.'' and he leaves .
Zoe's so dumb found but she moves back to class and asks Troy about who Natalie is and her relation with Caleb.
Troy nods his head and tells her,'' you wouldn't want to know because right now Natalie has been ditched by Caleb and all she does is cry and just don't get caught up in that too.''Then who's Natalie can you just show her to me,please?'' and Troy points at her ,she was just seated two seats ahead of them and she was wiping her eyes and immediately got out if the class as Zoe followed her to the bathroom,'' I think I know why you are crying,its cause of Caleb ,what happened you can talk to me I'll listen,if you let me.'' And Natalie yells,''what do you need from me,huh?, I've told you I don't need anyone ,I can manage,just leave me alone.'' and she goes out .
Zoe feels overwhelmed by pity for her and goes back to class ,there lessons that day are already done and she stands by the road side waiting on her mom,as Natalie and many other students walk out on her,and Troy bids her bye and walk back home and her mom arrives immediately and they get back home as they talk about her first day at the school and she tells her mom everything was just fine.
She just goes straight to her room and pulls out her book so she can do her assignment and gets done with it,goes for supper and goes to sleep rights away.
