It was 3yrs already;
And the end of high school test begins in a week.
He had to be strong for he knew failure is only for the weak.
He studied and practiced whilst others were waiting for questions to leak.
It was 3yrs already;
And everything happened so fast.
Though he believed in God, but in his knowledge he placed his trust.
It was exactly a week to Wassce and that is when he got himself injured.
He could no longer write with his left hand now he stood there amazed and so stranded.
It is there that we recalled that he cannot write right-handed.
For he is a left-handed student by nature.
Now how is he going to write this test which partly determines his future?
It was 3yrs already;
And the end of our academics was edging towards us.
He had one week to heal and get his academic pass.
No one knew what will happen but everyone knows what has happened.
Is he going to meet the authorities and plead to be pardoned?
Or he will find his way out and get himself strengthened.
It was 3yrs already;
And finally we began our journey to the end.
Everyone starred at how he wrote perfectly well and none of us could pretend.
The journey to the end later came to a stop.
And surprisingly the injured one is the one who came on top.
Some still can't believe how he managed to write this test.
Others too cannot tell what truly happened.
But one thing we all can testify to is that his left hand failed him, but the hand of God saved him.
