I remember being told to lead the Thanksgiving prayer charge during our Wednesday vigil at camp, I was scared because it was my first time, I wanted to tell the man in charge of it that I couldn't do it but the Holy Spirit said something, he said " Sarah, he could have chosen someone else but he chose you to do it, do you think he just picked randomly and even if he did pick randomly he picked you and nothing in your life is ever a coincidence" at that point I accepted, I was told to thank God for the church, the elders, the camp ground and everyone present, I even practiced.
It was time to pray and I already crammed what to say, on getting there I forgot everything and it was like a seed dropped in my heart and immediately grew into a flower of love. ABBA was intentional, intentional about feeling my heart with so much love.
I started praying and he put 1 Corinthians 13:7 in my mind-HIS LOVE BEARS ALL THINGS.
His love bore sustained us
His love bore provision
His love bore protection
His love bore Everything you can imagine including family, friends, businesses and so on, If ABBA hadn't loved he wouldn't have given us anything, we would have perished. What manner of love is that?that he gave his only begotten son to take away Everything that is not of him, knowing so well that our loving him back is a probability but still " while we were yet sinners he died for us".
I'm glad to have accepted that Thanksgiving prayer charge because it has grown a great burden in my heart.
I'll tell the whole world of his LOVE and how his LOVE BEARS ALL THINGS.
His love brings peace and joy and it would be so selfish of me to not share it with the world.
