From the moment I was born, I knew my journey would be different. My situation brought certain physical challenges, but I never allowed it to define me. Instead, I viewed every obstacle as an opportunity for growth.
My family has always been my anchor. They never saw me through the lens of my condition. From my early years, they made sure I never felt limited. They taught me that while my body may not always follow my own rhythm, my heart, mind, and spirit are free to be my own. My parents, siblings, and extended family encouraged me to believe in myself and showed me that life has no limits—only paths waiting to be explored and challenges to face.
School was the next chapter. When I first stepped into the classroom, I was nervous. I wondered if my classmates would see me as different or focus on my situation. But soon, I realized that everyone has their own struggles, and my difference was just another part of my unique journey. Teachers were patient and understanding, and their belief in me boosted my confidence. They never saw me as less capable than anyone else, and that acceptance made me realize I didn’t need to apologize for who I was.
