The Last Attempt...
Once upon a time, a majestic king ruled in a kingdom. One day a foreign visitor came to his court. And he gave the king a beautiful stone as a gift. The king became very happy to see that stone.
He decided to make a very big statue out of that stone. And handed over the work of construction of the statue to the General Secretary of the state.
The General Secretary went to the best sculptor of the state, and said, King wants to get a big statue made for the temple. Prepare the statue within 7 days and send it to the palace. For this you will be given 50 gold coins.. The sculptor was pleased to hear the 50 gold coins and took out his tools to start his work from now on. He took a hammer from his tool and struck the stone. But the stone remained as it is, the sculptor made several blows on the stone with a hammer, But the stone did not break..
After striking 50 times, the sculptor raised the hammer to make a final attempt, But he did not make the last effort thinking that when this stone did not break after hitting so many times, then what will break now... He took that stone and went back to the General secretary, and told him that it is impossible to break this stone, you cannot make a statue out of it. The General Secretary had to fulfill the orders of the king at any cost. Therefore, He entrusted the work of making that idol to a simple laborer, Taking a stone, that sculptor attacked him in front of the General Secretary, And that stone broke in one go. The sculptor started making the statue by breaking the stone. Here the General Secretary started thinking that I wish the earlier sculptor had made one last effort, He would have been successful.. and would have been entitled to 50 gold coins...
Lesson of the story...
Sometimes we don't even try to try in life, after two or three failures, Our confidence is shaken, and we give up. Whereas maybe with some more efforts, the problem would have been solved or the work would have been completed.. If you want to achieve success in life, even if you fail again and again, you should not give up until success is achieved, Maybe the work with which we are stopping our hands is the last effort and we can get success from that......!!!
