Shopping Dad
Larry was out grabbing a few spices for dinner with his wife and 2 kids. He had just gotten off from the hospital where he is the Public relations coordinator of over 30 years.

He stopped by the closest grocery store by his house around 7 p.m. As he stepped up to the line and added his items on the conveyer belt waiting his turn. All of a sudden, BREAKING NEWS REPORT. When he looked up he noticed on the store television set, loudly displaying a report of a fire that has taken over the community he stays in.

The area where the reporter was standing had a house that looked like a house in his col de sac covered in blazes.. He gasped for air and tried to call the house phone... no answer... he called again the same thing. He frantically stepped out of line....with only his phone in hand speed walking towards the exit... mumbling...ok let's call the cell... looking into the phone to fight Tears. Larry gets in the car, the phone attached to Bluetooth, still ringing, no answer.

The car sped through the dark night, it's headlights flashing, warning the incoming traffic there is an emergency up ahead that he is trying to get to in his speeding rate.
With all the dry air a fire was only bound to happen, and he isn't there for his family, he thought as he drove focusing on the road. Eventually he came to his suburban neighborhood. This is the neighborhood he comes home to everyday with pride and love cause he has made it to this place with his family, but now in the night sky all you see is orange rage glowing in the night 🌙 ✨ and emergency vehicles illuminating what's already burning around.
