Drop-off
A woman asked her officemate a favor to just drop her off along the same road way to his hometown. When her officemate answered, "yes," the woman immediately phoned her husband to tell him the good news that there's no need to rush in picking her up from the office. But after some time, when the company bus arrived to bring back all employees from a teambuiding event to their main office building, her officemate whom she asked to drop her off along the way, suddenly said that his car was full and that she cannot be accomodated because another officemates will be with him to be dropped off also. The woman gently asked though in a bit shocked, "Oh, who are they?" Deep inside she's a bit annoyed thinking how come the car is already full. She tried not to look or feel awkward but actually she felt disrespected. She knew she's the first to ask for a favor yet he just simply dumped her like that. What was the meaning of it? Isn't that rude? Or a lesser bad way of saying, "No, I prefer other companion not you."
