HIDDEN FEELINGS (epd 13)
*HIDDEN FEELINGS*

Episode 13:

"Life is a journey of tests and triumphs. If only we have the knowledge of what our creator Has in store for us, possessing the spirit of contentment and endurance at difficult times will be not be a problem...."

I only boarded the bus to alight at any police station or media house. I don't even know where I was going... Some minutes after joining the passengers in that bus, the conductor sprayed an airy substance, he claimed it was air freshener. Everyone in the bus raised brows and tongue lashed him but the sprayer claimed some bad odours were oozing in the bus.
Shortly after, everyone fell asleep... I woke up after a while to discover the driver was threading a wrong way as the bus jolted along the shrubby path... I was frightened then, I screamed.

"'A'oodhu bikalimaatil-laahit-taammaati min ghadhabihi wa 'iqaabihi, wa sharri 'ibaadihi, wa min hamazaatish-shayaateeni wa 'an yahdhuroon.!"
Translation: "I seek refuge in the Perfect Words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, from the evil of His slaves and from the taunts of devils and from their presence."

"Where are you taking us to?" I questioned at the top of my voice after chanting the adhkar.

"Na who be that? But you say everybody don sleep naaa!" The driver asked in awe.

"Na one alhaja..... I know no haw she tey wake up ooo... No be the first time we don dey use am naw... How she wake self no clear to me." his accomplice replied.

"That one no be for here oo... Why you let alhaja enter now? You won make she spoil business for us...... Abeg push am outside jooor...."

The driver stopped as his ally dragged me out of the bus.

"Subhaana'Llaah! Only Allah knows what the fate of others will be? Al-hamduli'Llaahi! Dua'a is necessary and important to be chanted before going out of one's house coupled with the fact I've been reciting Qur'an by heart. I'm sure Allah in his infinite mercies have saved me because of this. I pray He save others too." I said to myself.

I was stranded as I was lost in the shrubby areas.. the rays of the sun was draining and the evening was drawing nearer.... Only the tweets and cheeps of birds could be heard.. No one seems coming forth.
"Ihdinaa siraatal mustaqeem" I chanted non-stop and walked as fast as I could.

Afterwards, I saw two hefty men staring at me with hats on their heads and cutlasses in their hands.. Their eyes were red with their broad naked hairy chest. The duo was devouring something in a black nylon. They stare at each other and also at me... I sensed the two were passing evil messages to each other. My fears intensified, I thought of asking them for help but their feary face made me dumbstruck. I walked faster to disappear from their sight. Directly after, I looked back and saw them tiptoeing after me... I accelerated my movements, they did the same.. Then, reality was dawned on me as it was obvious they are after me.... I ran as fast as my leg could and they did as well.

I didn't realize a tall erected big tree was in front of me and I kissed it with my head and slumped.
"Subhaana'Llaah!" I screamed before slumping.

I opened my eyes to find myself lying on a bed. The walls of the room were painted in green and cream colours and the curtains were drawn to let in the sunlight ..... The building structure looks old but it was apparent it was just renovated. Sitting beside me was little a pretty girl. Her face shone with brightness, her hair was lovely plaited and adorned with beads of different colours. She smiled gently with her pink lips. This smiles of hers, added to her beauty as her dimple was clear and cute. She placed her palm on my cheeks with her misty eyes. Her face looks familiar but not really sure if we've met before.
"Al-hamduli'Llaahi, you're awake.. How are you feeling now? My name is Maryam the daughter of AbdulMojeed can I know your name too?" She asked with her soft voice.
"Al-hamduli'Llaahi, I'm fine now.. And I am Muslimah the daughter of AbdulGaneey."
"Can we be friends?" She asked with a lovely smile.
"Maa Shaa'a Allaah!"
"That means you'll be staying in our house henceforth right?...
