INTRODUCTION:

The story is about a man named Barley who had a horrible past while he was single but many years later, his long-forgotten past Flashed back at him and his family when a woman he sinned against years back came for revenge.



Part 2

Barley then sees he has nowhere to hide again as Jessica already knew what he was hiding. As Jessica was praying, she noticed Barley was walking closer to her and before she could realize anything Barley was already prostrating before her. Barley wept bitterly as he holds Jessica two legs and asking for her forgiveness. It was then Barley confessed everything between himself and Rosemary and how she claimed to be pregnant before she drugs him and ran away.


Instead of Jessica being mad at the confession Barley noticed she was only smiling. She lifted Barley and requested him to sit. Jessica told Barley she was already aware of what happened between him and Rosemary. She brought out her phone and played some videos for Barley that contained different things that happened between him and Rosemary including some of the times they were having romance and sex together. Jessica told Barley the video was sent to her by Rosemary. Barley confessed he was not aware of the video or how Rosemary made it. Barley pleaded severally to Jessica because Rosemary intentions concerning the videos were cleared to him that she wants to use them to blackmail their family.


Barley searched for Rosemary for months so he could resolve the issues behind the video she sent to Jessica but couldn't get her whereabouts or any information about her.


15 Years Later:

Barley is no more into the ICT business but has become a full-time Bishop and also a counsellor. Daily people from different places come to Barley for spiritual guide and counselling. One day, a young lady named Carolina came to Barley for counselling concerning her parents. She told Barley how her father rejected and ran away after her mother became pregnant with her and how her mother also gave her out to an orphanage when she was 4 years old. She told Barley since then she has never set her eyes on her mother neither has she set her eyes on her father before.


Barley was pitiful for the young lady after she explained all the hardships and abuses she had faced in life after the owner of the orphanage died and no one care for them anymore. Carolina explained to Barley she has been on the street since she was 8 years of age after the death of the orphanage home.


After all explanations from Carolina, if Barley can help or counsel her on how to find her parents, Barley was sad for her. He called Jessica and handed Carolina over to her so she can be living with them pending the time they will be able to find her parents. Carolina was happy for the opportunity given to her by Barley and Jessica to be living with them.


It is now over six months since Carolina is living with the Barley family and things were going well with them. Carolina was enrolled on school and also working in an eatery.


Barley was happy for Carolina after she was promoted severally and now to a supervisor at her place of work. Barley believed her hardworking and faithfulness has helped her to be favoured by her boss in less than a year that she joined the eatery.


One day Jessica was passing by the eatery where Carolina works so she decided to give Carolina a surprise visit. Truly Carolina was shocked to see Jessica visit her at work for the first time without even notifying her before coming. As Jessica moved closer to Carolina, she noticed a woman Carolina was busy talking with rushed out of her sight.


Carolina and Jessica were together for minutes. Jessica was served the eatery special juice and snacks. Jessica noticed Carolina was not comfortable with the way she was talking to her so she wondered what could be wrong.


After Jessica left the eatery she was thinking about the woman she saw with Carolina that suddenly rushed out of her sight immediately they saw her walking into the eatery and what could cause Carolina not to be comfortable when they were talking. Jessica knew the face of the woman she saw with Carolina looks familiar but couldn't remember where she knew her from.


Barley noticed some changes in Carolina. How she tries to avoid everyone in the house and even when they are in fellowship. Barley thought if someone has offended her that made her be behaving the way she does because she used to be a cheerful person.


One day after fellowship, Barley psychologically knew something is wrong after he called Carolina to his office and questioned her concerning her sudden change of behaviour to everyone in the house but Carolina didn't have a tangible thing to say.


In the night when Barley and Jessica were on the bed together, they talk about their children and how Carolina suddenly changes of behaviour recently is affecting their friendship. That moment Jessica remembered what happened the day she...
