Lies and deceit. chapter 2.
Well one day while my grandmother was at work, my dad came to my grandmother house where we was staying and got my mom out of the bed where she was sleeping.she had been put on bed rest and medication to dissolve the blood clot she had on her brain.well he picked her up in his arms and lied and said that he had talked with her mother and she said it be ok if he took her to hickory just as long as he brings her back. well she wasn't supposed to get up or try to walk or anything. My dad convinced her to go with him to hickory and my dad and his family did something really really bad to my mom and he brought her back and put her in the bed as if she never was gone before my grandmother came home so my oldest cousin who name is Marie went in to see my mom in her room to give her her medication and she came back out of the room and called our grandmother and told her something was wrong with my mom so my grandmother went in the room to see about her daughter and my mom told her mother the lie my father had told her and told her mom that my dad and his family held her down and poured poo whiskey and lead down her throat and she told her mom it was ok cause my father can't never hurt her again but where she was going she could make him hurt his self. she asked her mother to promise her she would never let us go around my dad and his family ever again. so my grandmother made her daughter that promise and we didn't ever go back to hickory until we were grown.when our mom died she was only twenty-five years old. we were very small. the oldest was five and the next was five and the next was three and I was two.but just before my mom died my aunt my mom sister told me when she had gotten shot in the back my aunt told me she had died and went to heaven she said it was the most beautiful place you ever want to see. she said when she was alive she used to drink beer and smoke cigarettes but when she went to heaven she didn't want it anymore.sgr she said she stayed with God the whole while and one day he told her she had to come back and she said she held his feet and crying begging him not to send her back but she said he told her she had to come back because her girls was small and her mother was going to need her help.she said then he sent her back and soon after he sent her back and my mom passed away her only sister. My aunt said she didn't know what to do because her and my mom hadn't never been without each other she said she was so heartbroken. it was like her heart had been ripped out of her chest.she said she couldn't hardly live without her sister.but but she knew she had to go on and help her mother raised her sister childrens. When the police went to hickory to question my father and his people about the death of my mom they couldn't find him his people had sent him away. well as time went on we grew up and our grandmother sent us to school and we moved into a house and she taught us while we were small that nothing comes easy and we had to work for what ever we wanted in life and I thank her for making us know that we have responsibility.
