On The Christmas Eve
Its Christmas eve and a newly married young couple decide to spend their vacation in old grandmother's house belonging to Amy Allen along with her husband Jacob Wilson.
The beautiful view in the morning and snowfall made it look the perfect stay for the Christmas and for the New Year.
Amy started to unpack things and Jacob helped her so they finished it fast for the eve . She said that now all the work are done she will go to cook his favourite dish and for him to go buy a good Christmas tree for eve. He agreed upon that and got ready wearing woollen sweater one over the other, a pair of gloves, scarf, pair of boots and a trolley to carry back the tree to home. He said goodbye to her and left the house.
While Amy cooked the food, set the table ready - two plates, a knife , fork and spoon for each and a candle at the centre on the dining table for the dinner. After an hour and a half minutes later Jacob returned, set the Christmas tree up, decorated it and got ready for the dinner.
Amy pours a fine wine into the glasses,Jacob asks who is the old lady in that family photo and Amy replies it was her grandmother. Soon there someone knocks on the door. She gets up to look at the door and opens it, its Jacob her husband! She turns around towards the dining table and no ones there, also there is no Christmas tree. She thinks she might have been daydreaming. Then Jacob enters the house sets the christmas tree and gets ready to have dinner.
Then they both finish their plates and she takes the plates back to the kitchen. Just as she turns around Jacob is resting his head on the table. She gets worried and comes closer to have a look at him. She gets shocked when she sees that her husband Jacob lying dead with a knife on stabbed into his neck while the blood dripping down the table! She is in literal shock and then she tries to get help from calling for emergency but there is no signal on the phone out there, so she comes out of the house to get help.
Suddenly the front door of the house gets closed and locked . She tries opening the door but couldn't, so goes near the window, clears the moisture built upon on it and sees through the window. She is petrified to look that there is no sign of Jacob or the tree. Everything is at the right place.
She feels like she is going crazy now. So she drives the car she came with her husband and hits the road, with fear she is driving really fast.
Then suddenly, she hits a man and he rolls all over the car. Amy stops and gets out of the car to look at him and it is her husband Jacob. At first she thinks its all just happening in her head but later realises that this time its really her Jacob, her beloved husband and he is dead. Just moments later, police arrive who were going on patrol at the time to the scene. Amy crying constantly holds her husband on to her and then she tells she killed him and surrenders to police by herself.
The police consisted of one male and another female cop. While the male police calls for ambulance and the female cop cuffs Amy and takes her sit in the back of the police car.
The police start the vehicle to drive . Amy turns around to look her husband one last time but there was standing a lady waving at her saying goodbye to her. She couldn't see her face as there was fog on the road. The lady then turned her back walking towards the house dragging down Jacobs body along with the Christmas tree.
Amy screams and tells the police to stop the car but the car wouldn't be stopped, she turns around to the police yelling to stop the car! But there is no one in the car! The car is straight away headed to the cliff and she somehow manages to open the door and get out of the car before it falls off the cliff.
Then she gets up and a man is standing right in front of her . She goes near him asking for help but he turns out to be her dead husband Jacob! He is covered full of blood, knife stabbed in his neck, a broken leg and he pulls out a gun that he had brought to kill her but suddenly a car hits her which she dies going down the cliff along with the car. He slowly then turns and walks towards the house back again.He points the gun to his head and pulls the trigger out and dies falling to the ground . His dead eyes stare at the house.
While in the house there lies the Christmas tree being decorated beautifully with bright lights by an hand which looks like it belongs to old woman who resembles to the family photo of Amy Allen.
