And then everyone’s bone got chilled out when we heard a very cold scream of Alicia. I ran towards her but then bullet spoke, over six times.
Mrs Brown let out a full blooded scream, “The blood, the blood!”
John gasped, “I am dying help! Aahhh...” I ran quickly to my room, it was difficult but I found a torch.
Situation was very worse, Mr Brown was on the floor. John’s right hand was hitted. Both cops were shotted. One was hitted twice. Vera also got hitted on her shoulder and Inspector McCoy’s ear was bleeding. There were splashes of blood all around.
I wanted to check how lights went off and is that gun still in the drawer but no time for that, because Alicia was missing.
“Vera call the ambulance”, I shouted.
“Where’s Alicia?”
“We'll find her but call ambulance quick!”
I rushed out of the door. She was not around the house. I found a piece of her cloth on road that headed to her house. I rushed and reached there, to see her car was not parked and her door wide opened.
I entered her house. No one was there but there was a kettle in sink. I touched it and it was warm. But how, because Alicia was in Vera’s house all day.
I didn't found much. We all reached hospital. And later found out that there was a blackout in whole city due to damage in main power station. I was constantly thinking what had been done wrong. I drank my pomegranate juice.
Vera came and cried, “See Mr Lenoir, nothing will happen isn't? I don't know if my friend is even alive or not...” Then I realised!!
It was one of the biggest mistake I had done in my career. I shouted, “Alicia had told us but we didn't saw it...”
