The Last Choice : A change in everyday life (part-2)
Let's continue the tale we left of on days of past...who was the one calling Maki , did you all anticipate? Well, let me unravel this mistery.
His name was "Tausik" , a boy who....what his classmates and the masses would call.....an extrovert.He was peculiar in the eyes of Maki...a boy of last choice to see someone so friendly and loved by the students and teachers alike....like a protagonist, a boy who was everyone's first choice.
Tausik never really talked to Maki and neither did Maki try to ......why would he they where polar opposites. No, don't think maki was incommunicable , he just didn't try to slip anything out of his mouth.....he was a boy of few words.
It wasn't unsual that someone would call maki though it was rare, he experienced such instances before on few days of several occasions, and was expecting tausik to either joke about him or just something he wanted that maki had but others didn't.....everyone came to Maki to talk..... actually to ask for favours when everyone else was unable to fulfil it. Well, why not? Maki was a last choice and a boy of helping heart....a boy who would drag his leg in matters out of his concerns
Maki believed it would be the same, no one really cares about him. But Tausik proved him wrong. He asked not for a favour neither to make fun of Maki but an attempt to befriend him. He asked "How was your exam today?" ...hmm you might be thinking what's the big deal everyone does that after exams. Well not for Maki , my friends. It was a new question he never heard from anyone except his parents and sister. It was a big deal for Maki, it was an unprecedented moment for him. He soon calmed down his feelings and replied "I think it was..... good....umm.....what about you?" Maki didn't know his name and didn't try to find out even. He was now awkward unable to formulate what he must do next.And while Maki was wrecking his brain think this Tausik replied "Really?...it was so hard you know....you must be one brilliant student".... Maki didn't say anything, Tausik as if he knew Maki was uncomfortable said" Ah! by the way Maki, you can call me tausik ...all my friends call me that".....maki in his trance asked "Friends?.....are we friends?". Tausik unable to understand his meaning was startled.
What was Tausik's reaction? What happened next? Let's wait to see what happens.....
