Wanting to keep his job, he frantically agreed to her deal, much to her delight.
"Are you sure you should have done that..? What if it backfires?" An Ning asks her cautiously.
"Nah it's fine I-" She tried to reply back while shrugging. "Xiang Ting.." She jolted up slightly as she heard a familiar voice sound out.
She turned around, giving the person a wide smile before she cheered out, "Brother!" Running towards him to give him a hug.
However, he dodged slightly as Xiang Ting fell forward to the floor with a shocked and puzzled expression.
An Ning who was by her side quickly reached out to grab her but the moment Yang Jian saw his actions, he was one step quicker.
Grabbing her by her waist as he pulled her away.
An Ning had to stomp a couple more extra steps but managed to stabilize himself from falling down.
Xiang Ting was pulled tightly into her brothers embrace as the both of the guys began glaring at each other.
"Brotherrrr!" Xiang Ting whined as her muffled voice came out as she pushed her face away from his stomach.
"My face hurts!" She pouted as she rubbed her face, "Where did you go all of the sudden..?" He asked coolly.
"Well~ iI was hanging out with my new friend!" She cheerfully exclaimed before he looked behind her to find An Ning standing there awkwardly.
Her brother immediately frowned at the foreign guy standing behind her and asked, "With him?"
"Yep! Moreover, he has helped me out!" She commented further.
"Help…? How?" He asked as his face got slightly cold, "Uhm.." An Ning trailed off not knowing what to say.
"Oh don't be so humble! He saved me from this arrogant guy who wanted to make me his and is now planning on getting my hand in marriage or something from father." Xiang Ting beamed childishly as she explained.
"Make you his..? MARRIAGE!?" Her brother began fuming after hearing her words but calmed down as Xiang Ting on his clothes and burried her face indicating she was 'scared'.
Secretly she sighed in relief that An Ning won't be chewed out by her brother.. Hopefully.
Her brother glanced at An Ning before giving a slight bow, "Thank you for helping my sister.. But next time.. Stay away from her." Yang Jian stated coldly.
"…" An Ning remained silent but bowed down slightly towards Yang Jian before he proceeded to pick up Xiang Ting in a princess carry and walk off.
Looking behind his shoulder, she waved her arm to bid him goodbye.
An Ning only gave a nod before glancing away from her waving figure.

"Hey big sister Luo!" Xiang Ting passed by the hooded sister, "Are there any complaints that I should know of?" She asked.
"Nope~ None at all~ I actually left the class halfway to do something so I don't know if there is homework for me and my friend." Xiang Ting responded merrily.
"Mn.. What's your friend name? I'll make sure you can hand in your homework later.. If you have any."
"Thank you sister Luo! His name is An Ning!" Xiang Ting exclaimed out happily.
"An Ning..?" Sister Luo suddenly froze as she thought of the name, "What is it sister Luo? Is it afterall too much to excuse us both.. It's fine you can exclude my name from there! I can complete it in time for sure!" Xiang Ting exclaimed.
"No… It's fine.. Just his name seems familiar.. It's fine. I'll go deal with the situation, you'll receive the homework tomorrow."

Her fluster expression went unseen by Xiang Ting who chose to ignore the rising temperature but was noticed by the two sisters who came out of their spots.
"How devious Luo Luo." Sister Xue tched out while Sister Hua commented, "Teach me your ways."
"Eh?" Xiang Ting's made a confused response to their talk, "It's nothing, don't listen to them." Sister Luo than shielded her ears from the surroundings and guided her away back into her own room.
"Mn." Sister Luo made a noise as she tossed Xiang Ting a couple of medical books for her own knowledge, "You cnn read these books if you want."
"Thank you big sister Luo!" Xiang Ting beamed at her brightly as she saw that it was some acient medicinal books that would have normally been locked up from the younger disciples.
Instead of having to steal some medicinal related top secret books, she could just get it from Sister Luo so it was like a win win situation for xiang Ting.
