Falling for you(Chapter 1&2)
Chapter 1

_Mia's POV_

"Bye Mom!" I threw behind me as I ran out the door.

"Bye Sweetie!" I heard her amused voice yell as I neared my best friend, Paisley's car.

I gently opened the door and jumped in, before closing it and turning to Paisley with an innocent smile.

"I'm sorry." I apologised in advance, trying to avoid my friend's boiling wreath.

She just sighed," You're late." She said, her voice laced with hidden irritation.

"I'm sorry." I guiltily apologised," I don't know what happened. One minute I'm on time and the next, I'm late."

She just chuckled, before saying," It's alright besides, I think I can still cover the lost time."

"Paise, you're lucky you already have your own car and license. I still need to wait for a couple of months to go for my learner's licence then who knows how long for my car." I huffed.

Paisley just threw her head and laughed as she locked the car, making me playfully pout at her.

She finally calmed down and looked at me with her green orbs shimmering with clear amusement." Don't rush it, besides, you only have to wait for two months, then you'll be eighteen, while I'm turning nineteen this year." She pouted." Either way, where are we going again?"

I chuckled at my carefree friend before answering," Literature."

"Oh man, and I don't have enough energy to face Mrs Adamson so early in the morning. That teacher needs me to have enough energy so I don't fall asleep in her class." She complained as we walked up the stairs leading to the open University doors.

I was so busy looking at my crazy friend in amusement, that I didn't notice the wall until I walked into it.

" Ouch!" I yelped, as I rubbed my forehead, glaring at the pillar.

"Mi, you okay?" Asked Paisley with a barely stiffled laugh.

"Yeah." I grumbled as I continued rubbing the stinging spot, hoping that a bruise or bump wouldn't appear there.

" Come on." Chuckled Paisley as she linked our arms and led me towards our first class of the day. "Only you can bump into pillars my Dear clumsy friend." She mused, making me glare in her direction as she just chuckled at me in amusement.

We walked into the half full class and made our way to our normal seats in the middle. Putting our bags on the table, we plopped down onto the wooden bench.

We sat for a couple of minutes as the class filled up, before Paisley's 'favourite teacher', note the sarcasm, entered the class.

"Alright class, let's begin." She instructed in her lazy droning tone. We're going to be here for a long time.

"Finally!" Groaned Paisley as we walked out of literature,"That felt like forever." She complained.

"There there." I coaxed as I patted her back with my hand.

"Can we just go home now?" She tiredly asked.

"If we want to fail, yes." I grinned.

"You suck." She glared.

"I love you too." I smiled a toothy smile, making her feign crying.

"I'm tired, I need energy." She dramatically placed her hand on her forehead.

"There there my drama queen." I said, rolling my eyes in amusement at her dramatics.

The next thing I know is I'm colliding with a hard surface.

"Owwee," I whine as I rub my forehead profusely for the second time today," Not again!"

"Hey there, you alright?" Asked the course of my pain in an amused tone, making me quirk my eyebrow questioningly as I looked up.

"Today was just embarrassing." I dramatically exclaimed.

"Yes, for you. For me, it was interesting." She replied as she suggestively moved her eyebrows at me.

"What was so interesting about today hmm?" I asked with my lips in a tight line and my eyebrows quirked questionably.

" Oh I don't know, I guess just that you literally bumped into our top forward in the school football team, Elliot Smith." She excitedly squealed," That man is absolutely handy handsome."

"Seriously?" I exclaimed as I looked at my friend with disbelief.

"What?" She asked," I'm just being honest, Sweetie." She cockily smirked.

Turning to the front, I was surprised to see that we were on my home's driveway.

"What? Really" I quirked an eyebrow.

" Oh hush." She chastised," I better get going. I promised Mom that I'd help her at the boutique today."

"Oh please greet her for me?"...
