Nighttime
The night was in serenity. With a bottle on my hand, I witness the stars talking. The cold wind messed up my hair as it continued blowing from the east and I kept fixing it, over and over. Without fail, the starry sky amazed me. And as each second passes by, it drew me in.

The peace you had and the small little things that cheer up a child. The warm embrace of a mother as she sang a lullaby about the stars. I remembered these things and it comforts me to have these memories. As soon as I closed my eyes, I heard a familiar voice.

"You who love stars,
come find me in your dream.
Be guided by the light
which we, the stars, bring.

For once the sun is out,
together we disappear.
But comes a bigger star
who will watch you make your dream."

With my eyes closed, I hoped and wished. With my eyes closed, I watched my dreams disappear. As soon as the sun came out, the stars, along with my fantasm vanished. Just how the warmth of an embrace fades when you are apart. It disappeared as we grow up. As we forget peace and happiness small things can bring.

My friend, the star, kept me awake. For several years, we comfort each other. As I quaff out my bottle and as he waited for me to sober. We face another day.
