Dreams and Confusion
Chapter one
J. Storm woke up in a panic. She looked around and saw her sibling crawling across the floor, desperately reaching for his mother. She tried to follow but all of a sudden she was pulled back down. J. Storm looked behind her and saw nothing. She tried to follow her siblings again but like the former attempt, she was pulled down. Her heart began to pound as she watched her family disappear into a mist and the yearning of her brother and ceased. Her cries rang throughout the room as she sobbed uncontrollably with anger and confusion. After her family vanished, she was able to stand on her two small feet with ease. The force was gone and so was all she knew; her family. Suddenly a blue light shone throughout the room and J. Storm was lifted off the floor. Her would body began to tremor and her face quivered with fear as she heard a voice calling her name. It rang louder and louder like a clanging symbol until she thought her ears would burst. She called back saying, “Here I am,” but it was as if her words were nothing but silence and her actions were useless. Suddenly, she was in front of a faceless figure who was tied to a chair. Below the person’s feet, a name was written in ancient Greek, and the script was not one J. Storm understood. A tiger stepped out from behind the faceless person and leaped at J....
