I still remember the feeling I felt
When I first started talking to you,
It was like the world around me melted,

And your eyes shone with a special light,
I knew that I wanted you near me,
And I couldn't resist your sight.

We talked for hours on end,
Sharing our lives and our dreams,
You became my confidant and friend,

You made me laugh and smile,

You made my heart skip a beat,
And my emotions were understood.

I remember the butterflies in my stomach,
Every time we would talk or text,
I was nervous but excited,

And our conversations became routine,
Talking to you became a part of my life,

We supported each other through thick and thin,

And that's all we ever had.

It was more than just attraction,

And now as I think back,

I am grateful for the feeling,
