On my evening walks, there are some people that I see almost every day. A group of elderly women singing devotional songs sitting on a bench, a group of elderly men enjoying their company discussing various topics, a man whose jogging style differs from others, another man who walks so fast that even before I complete one round, he is done with two rounds, and another group of elderly women walk around discussing the current affairs (not about the world, but about this locality where they stay). Indeed, all of them are strangers to me, even though we exchange glances since we happen to see each other almost every evening. We never speak to each other, but still, with that single glance exchanged, we recognise each other's presence and wish each other a pleasant evening. On any day, if I don't see any of them, my mind involuntarily looks around. I'm not sure if they do the same, too!
