As we all know corona is at its peak, and we all are forced to stay at home. To engage ourselves at home we need some entertainment and activities. Recently I saw some series, and I was carried away by the series. Thought of sharing reviews with all of you. All the series reviewed below can be watched with your family (children too). I am sure you will like them.
 
Gullak- This web series is created by TVF starring Geetanjali Kulkarni, Jameel Khan, Vaibhav Raj, and Harsh Malhotra. It is a story of the Mishra family (a North Indian middle-class family). Very rarely we come across such a series when you realize it is a story of people like us (common man). Kudos to the Tvf team for creating a masterpiece. They have set a new benchmark by perfectly showcasing sweet and sour emotions between members of a family. The detailing of a North Indian middle-class family is magnificent. It unfolds layers of emotions in a beautiful way which compels viewers to feel emotional and nostalgic, but you will keep smiling throughout the series. All the actors have done a brilliant job. By the time you see the fifth episode you will not want it to end. It is very well written and created, it is a must-watch.
 
 
Panchayat- This masterpiece is again created by TVF streaming on Amazon Prime starring Jeetu bhaiya, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, and Chandan Roy. It is a story of Abhishek Tripathy, an engineering graduate who joins as a panchayat secretary in a remote village in Uttar Pradesh. It is a simple story portrayed outstandingly. Detailing of rustic life and people are very convincing. It shows that an honest, raw, and real emotions truly resonates with everyone. The actors were outstanding, in the whole series they don’t seem to act. They have done a stellar job, they all feel like real characters, their accents are authentic and the world they created seemed to be real. Catch this one, to reconnect with simpler times. All the actors have done a brilliant job and the whole story seemed to be real
 
 
Yeh Meri Family- This is again created by TVF starring Mona Singh, Vishesh Bansal, and Prasad Reddy. I have never seen any series as real as this. For everyone else, it is a drama but for 90s kids, it’s a trip down the memory lane. Those summer vacations that crush from school, the Rooh Afza afternoons, fighting with siblings over trump cards, listening to music over Walkman. If you have experienced any of the above things this show is for you. It will make you feel nostalgic and you will long to go back to those days. Kudos to the team to make a show that is completely clean, relatable, nostalgic, and entertaining.
