My name is Kevin, and I'm a high school student, not only desperate for a good education, but also desperate for a relationship. Don't get me wrong, I love to go to school, but I'd also love to have someone to love. Ever since my dad died, my mom died, and my aunt killed herself, I've been kind of lonely. Well, not completely lonely, I've had my best friend Renata by my side during these tough times.

Renata and I have always been friends since we were kids, she always had my back. Even when I made her angry, she'd still be with me, 'til the end of time.

One day, I walked into my History class, and saw Renata sitting at an empty table. "Hey! Kevin! Sit next to me!" she called out, I walked to her and sat next to her. "What're you doing in my History class?" I asked her, "I transferred since the principal couldn't find another substitute for my class, so we're class buddies!" she replied.

She was always so funny, I loved her so much, but not in that way. I didn't love her like she was my girlfriend, I loved her like she was my friend. A minute later, the door slammed open, and the prettiest girl I've ever seen appeared in the doorway.
