The wings of the Swan and Cyrano's sword - Prelude
Prelude

Paris - 1898

The lights of the theater dimmed, casting an arcane atmosphere over the deserted stage.
Only a solitary figure moved, with grace and determination, in the increasingly enveloping darkness.
Adèle practiced almost every evening for her performance. This would be her moment, a moment she had been waiting for all her life, ever since she started dancing as a child.
And now, she would be Odette in Swan Lake. The following week, all eyes would be on her, the leading lady.
Adèle wore the White Swan costume like a second skin, and her bare feet barely touched the polished floor of the small neighborhood theater, the wood creaking beneath her steps.
However, Adèle barely heard the creaking. With her eyes closed, she surrendered completely to the melody resonating in her mind, allowing the notes to transport her to another world.
Adèle felt like the Swan. Adèle was the Swan.

On another stage, Théo also prepared for his moment of glory. He worked for the Company of Wandering Dreamers, a small and little-known theater company, but Théo's passionate portrayal of Cyrano was increasingly recognized and appreciated by audiences and critics alike.
At that moment, his mind was filled with verses and words of love as he donned the prominent nose that transformed him into the famous Gascon poet.
The audience was ecstatic. Oh, how they loved his performance night after night, and how Théo loved his spectators. Acting made him feel so alive.
Yet, within him burned perhaps an even greater passion, a desire that often consumed him like a fire: Théo desperately wanted to find true love, just as Cyrano did, secretly pining for the beautiful Roxane.

It was during that evening in Montmartre, the bohemian quarter of an enchanting and vibrant Paris, that the lives of Adèle and Théo intertwined for the first time.
After her solitary performance, Adèle found herself strolling through the silent streets illuminated by the lamplight of the city she adored, the gentle September breeze pleasantly tickling her face, still enveloped in the euphoria of her dance.
That's when she heard a deep, melodious voice reciting passionate love verses under a lamppost.
Théo, despite the profound weariness that had engulfed him after the show, had not yet shed the persona of Cyrano. He wanted to be the poet for a little longer. He felt the same euphoria as Adèle, and his mind was already projected to the performance of the following Friday.

Suddenly, Adèle and Théo's eyes met, and in that moment, something clicked. It was as if destiny had just woven an enchanting tapestry, uniting Adèle's grace and elegance with Théo's unbridled passion in a visible yet powerful embrace. No words were necessary; they understood each other simply by looking, feeling that dance and theater had brought them together forever, in a unique and special way.
From that evening on, their love story would unfold amidst the bohemian nights of Paris and the applause of the audience. Together, Adèle and Théo would dance with Cyrano's passion and the elegance of a white swan, fervently pursuing their dreams and defying the world around them.
The story of Adèle and Théo is the tale of two kindred souls who found love amidst the nuances of the stage and the steps of an ethereal dance. Stories like these are not told every day, stories that demonstrate that love can bloom in the most unexpected places and ways, transforming the lives of those who surrender to its magic.
