The Devil's Desire..(part -1)
"Your soul is mine, forevermore and forever tormented"
A Haunted Welcome -
MAY 16
Detective William stepped into Verforniya, a town
notorious for its dark history. His mission was to uncover
the truth behind its eerie silence. As he entered, an
unsettling feeling crept over him. The town resembled a
massive graveyard, shrouded in an eternal darkness that
seemed to swallow every thing.Every house stood like a
tomb, their windows vacant and unblinking. Bloodstains
splattered the pavement, as if the town itself had been
wounded. William's skin crawled as he walked down the
deserted road, the only sound being the crunch of gravel
beneath his feet.
"Where is everyone?" he wondered, his voice barely above a
whisper. The silence was suffocating, punctuated only by
distant, unidentifiable noises that sent shivers down his
spine.
As he continued walking, the sounds grew louder, more
menacing. William spun around,scanning his
surroundings, but saw nothing. His heart racing, he
quickened his pace, the darkness seeming to close in
around him.
Suddenly, a chill ran down his spine. He felt eyes upon
him, boring into his skin. William's grip on his gun tightened, his senses on high alert. He knew he wasn't
alone in Verforniya.
Every step revealed a new horror: twisted, gnarled trees
seemed to reach out to snare him; buildings loomed, their
walls bleeding with a malevolent force; and the air reeked
of death and decay.
William's heart still racing from the scream, he quickened
his pace, eager to find refuge in the rented house. He
knocked on the door, and an old man answered, his eyes
squinting with curiosity.
"Can I help you?" the old man asked, his voice gruff but not
unkind.
"I'm Detective William,
" he replied,flashing his badge.
"I've rented this house for a few days....
