Running And Hiding
Vanilla's Pov
I held onto my older sister as we watched flashlights pass by dragging a limb body... Looked the be if from this angle a monsters limb body. They was taking him get trained an adopted. I cringed my nose at the thought of being adopted by a human. "YUCK!" I squeezed my older sisters hand and she reassured me by pulling me into a hug. I been hiding from the police people ever since I was ten and my sister at the time was fourteen. I knew how to speak, write, and read but not enough cause I haven't continued my schooling.
I buried my face in the crook of my sister's neck running but my sister has celebrated a few of my birthdays.... ummm
I think two of my birthdays of mine celebrated and the same with my sister so that made her around six-teen years old and I was twelve. It was dark so I slowly drifted to sleep and thought of a better tomorrow.

"Mommy look at what I drew!" I ran up to my mom with a paper in my hand.
"What is it Vanilla?" She asked me and I show her the paper
"Happy Mothers Day Mommy," I smiled at my mom.
"Aww mom smiled and hugged me. "Thank you so much my sweet darling Va.."
She was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Stay here Vanilla." I obeyed and saw as mom peered through the little peep hole and jump back.
"Mommy what's wrong?" I walked near my mom.
"Go with you're sister and tell her to hide and call dad."
"Ok mommy." I ran to dad's study and told him mom was calling him then I ran upstairs to my sister room and told her what mom said.
She quickly stood up and took me to her closet then pulled a handle that was very well hidden on the floor.
"Get in," my sister said, I jumped in and my sister jumped in right after closing the door behind us.
"Chocola why was Mommy so scared when she looked through the little peep hole?"
"I don't know Vanilla...." My sister crawled next to me and I heard a piercing scream.
"MOMMY!" I recognized the voice as my mom I started to cry loudly grasp of a hnad covered over my mouth muffled my crying. I wanted scramble on out to help her at once held back from my sister stopping me.
Grabbed on to me a tight hug trying reassure my hope all lost.
It still hope we ones of the family left to stay alive.
I saw daddy being dragged out. He was knocked unconscious... "DADDY! DON'T TAKE MY DADDY!!"
I screamed through the window but they couldn't hear me.
Then they dragged a screaming mother out the house.
"CHOCOLA TAKE CARE OF YOUR SISTER!" She screamed trying to break free. "I LOVE YOU BOTH AND SO DOES DADDY REMEMBER THAT!" She screamed before she was thrown in the back of a car. By that time I was screaming and crying into my sisters shirt.
"HOW CAN THEY TAKE MOMMY AND DADDY AWAY FROM US!" I screamed into my sisters shirt.
"I-I-I don't know..." She hugged me again and sighed. "But we have to go"
"I'm not leaving, what if mommy and daddy come home and we aren't here?!" I looked up at Chocola with red puffy eyes. They took what my parents away from me and on Mother's Day....I will never forgive the him and for what they did to me.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
I woke up, panting and sweating to see my sister still asleep. The sun was just beginning to rise and I sat up as I wiped sweat off my forehead. I watched the sun rise hoping mom and dad were seeing it to. I felt someone wrap their arms around me and I looked to my side to my sister.
"Very nice morning isn't it" a smiled stretched across her face and I nodded. I really don't talk at all but when I have to I do. I got out of our hiding for the day and stretched out as my sister followed in my steps. "Let's go Vanilla" she walked though the alley and I followed her. I have been running for six or seven years, hiding, and I have met people of all kinds not humans I had enough of them in my lifetime. We had gone around all alleys searching for a new home, the sun was starting to set so we had to hurry up.
"THERE THEY ARE!" I heard voices and my sister looked back at me.
"RUN VANILLA!" She screamed and started running, I also ran but since I was slower I lost sight of her.
"CHOCOLA WHERE ARE YOU!" I stopped and looked around. I started panicking, I lost sight of my sister and I didn't know where she was. No no no this can't be happening to me!
"THERE IS ONE OF THEM!" I heard another voice scream

I got out of our hiding for the day and stretched out as my sister followed in my steps. "Let's go Vanilla" she walked though the alley and I followed her. "CHOCOLA WHERE ARE YOU!" I stopped and looked around. I started panicking, I lost sight of my sister and I didn't know where she was. No no no this can't be happening to me!
"THERE IS ONE OF THEM!" I heard another voice scream.
"WE'VE GOT YOU SURROUNDED SO THERE IS NO POINT IN TRYING TO ESCAPE!" A person with a loud sound maker talked. I covered my ears and hissed. I really didn't know I what to do. They were all pointing their guns at me. I continued hissing at them, flattened my ears onto my head and moving my tail side to side. But they continued getting closer. I was about to jump on one of the men when I felt a stinging pain on my butt. I couldn't move my body and soon enough I was on the floor as a man with a cigarette appeared and kneeled down.
"This one will make a really good pet for the boys that are looking to adopt" he blew the smoke of his cigarette in my face making my cringe and soon enough I blacked out but not before I was thrown in the back of a car. I'm going to see mom and dad, but what about Chocola she needs to see them too!!
