Alex learned from all his digging that Jorge was connected to some very bad people; so bad that Alex began to become very concerned for his and Sara’s safety. The company Jorge worked for had deep and far reaching ties; their business was involved in everything from drugs and weapons to smuggling and human trafficking. Their most profitable business was child trafficking; the mechanical and electrical supplies were just the perfect cover-up. They also had strong ties to the mafia, the cartel and slave traders. All of this struck a deep chord, and reminded Alex of why he got involved with law enforcement in the first place.
