REFLECTIONS: A PERSONAL PERCEPTIONS
INTRODUCTION

Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do. — Brené Brown

This book was inspired by and series of events happening in the society especially my country, that has the highest numbers of black race in the world, ranging from the security, economic situation been affected by inflations and wrong policies, leadership system been orchestrated by some "Political and Electoral Bandits". And above all, the minority class I belong to in the society, where am powerless, voiceless and not ascertain tomorrow holds for the youth in political class.
I have taken to writing my thoughts and describing the society I want as well as view my country in a mirror. I have researched and wrote about the topics of courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy, politics and life.
Majorly, five most powerful "Brené Brown's quotes have always motivated me on a daily basis which I display below. I hope that you find as much inspiration from them as I did!
I want to be in the arena of my thought now to gently put down my personal perceptions about my reflections on so many things. I want to be brave with life, and when we make the choice to dare greatly, we sign up to get our asses kicked. We can choose courage or we can choose comfort, but we can’t have both. Not at the same time.
Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s the ability to show one having the courage to be up and be seen when we do not have control over the outcome or results.
You either walk round even inside your story and own it or you stand outside your story and hustle for your worthiness.
I Stopped walking through the world looking for confirmation that I don’t belong. I will always find it because I’ve made that my mission. I Stopped scouring people’s faces for evidence that I'm not enough. I will always find it because I’ve made that my goal.

"True belonging and self-worth are not goods;"

we don’t negotiate their values with the world. I realized something some years ago, the truth about who I'm lives in my hearts. So our calls to courage is to protect our wild heart against constant evaluation, especially our own.

"No one belongs here more than you."

Perfectionism is a self-destructive and addictive belief system that fuels this primary thought: If I look perfect, and do everything perfectly, I can avoid or minimize the painful feelings of shame, judgment, and blame.
The bottom line is that when I look in the mirror, I want to be able to accept the person looking back at me, in all her imperfections, vulnerabilities, victories, and defeats. This radical acceptance is what will allow me to learn the lessons I need to from life so that I can experience self-growth.
"Reflections on My Life in a Parallel Universe
Waxing is a Personal Perceptions about my journey in Life, nostalgic for the good old days
About month ago my four-year old daughter Michelle, walked up to me and said dad:
"can you tell me what it was like when you were my age, back in those days ?”
I was shocked and shakened a little off guard. I laughed and said:
“Absolutely,” but within I was thinking and disturbed, “God! My childhood is now the those days?”
