"I don't think you're doing this the right way."
My best friend sat with me one afternoon before the research defense for action research—one final requirement to pass and complete that hellbent Field Study subject. I was in my black coat and we were sitting on one of the hallway benches, munching on a pack of Nova and Piattos.
I stopped nibbling and raised an eyebrow.
"How should I be 'doing' this, Ms. Expert?" She very demurely uncrossed her legs and turned to face me.
"First of all, yes. I am the expert between us. Remember? I had one ex. You on the other hand..." I rolled my eyes.
Right. I keep forgetting that.
"Anyway, my point is that, you should try to talk to her." I snorted, I nearly choked on a piece of Nova.
Talk? How? You're not even my classmate, we go to different buildings at school...and you even don't want to look at me or in my direction.
At least, not anymore.
So, how? I don't know how to do that.
"And say what?" I patted my lips and leaned back against the bench. Staring at the football field full of students doing PE activities. "That I didn't meant what I said? That I was joking when I said I admire her?"
Or that.... yes, it is true? That I confirm it?
Wouldn't that be close to choking a cat when you already see...
