The race
Out on a jog, having the feeling of lacking exercise, I go to Burnham park, the place is quiet although there are a lot of people here,
as I run along the path I see a guy,
around 5 ft. 4, shorts and tank top, medium built, cuts on his arms are showing, probably a runner, sweat run down from his forehead to his face as he raise his arms and wipes those sweat with the armband around his forearms.
as he passes me,I see black smoke coming out of him,
interesting...,
I try to catch up to him, he senses me, he speeds away,
so I leave him be.
I sit down and drink some water,I see him pass by me,
I play on my phone, he passes me again,
that black smoke really catches my eyes.
I follow him, he drives a Toyota Lancer, seems new, big house, looks like a rich kid, nothing special on his body,
muscle cut from working out, 6 pack abs, nothing special,
so I leave.
10pm,
Loakan Airport, hundreds of people are here,
the smell of burnt rubber in the air, screeching tires, very loud engines, cars running about, people cheering, screaming,
I smell money,
drag racing,
really famous here, people bet everything, money, drugs, girls, everything.
Then I see him again, his name is Carl, he races too, the black smoke is little more here, maybe because this is his thing.
I ask my friend who he is, they say he ahs not lost a race, his car is modified so well that is can out run any one elses, his father is a captain on a ship and his mother is in the military, he is an only son so this is where he spend his time and money.
a guy goes near him, rolled up cash on his hands, thick cash roll, about 200 thousand,
"balls man" that is what one of the guys around Carl says to the guy showing money,
they get on their cars,

both car rockets forward, smoke from the tires are left where the cars once were, black marking left by the tires, like a back to the future scene,
