Ch.22 : Hatred for Love
Just then Avni and Sofiya came front and grabbed his hand tightly preventing him to go anywhere.
Yoon's Father - No leave... I would beat you up if you both won't leave me.
They didn't got scared because now there was nothing they have seen or face. Then Yoon took a rope lying at the corner of the lab and tied her father up and took his gun; she was about to give it to Mina but instead gave it to Avni. And then they went outside. After walking for a while they stopped at the place where the incident happened. Then she yelled Ashi's name but no response and movement in their environment so they went a little further. Still no sign of her..
Fiza : I just want to give up! Where are you!
She squatted down and sobbed quietly. Pari's heart melted and she place her hand on her shoulder.
Pari : Don't worry Fiza. We will find her..she will be with us.
Fiza : But when!? It's been an hour since we are trying to find her! She isn't here..or anywhere! What if...he was hunted down by other survivors! What if..what if she got crushed or drowned or burned..or even.worse..
Pari made her stand and said.
Pari : Nothing shall happen to her! She will alright! We will find her! And take her back. Nothing would have gone wrong. Don't mess with your mind with those idiotic thoughts!
Just then she heard a growl and with an instance Fiza and Yoon looked back ... and there she was, in a very menacing state; she had turned into a perfect zombie but luckily her body was in a fine state. Just her eyes were black and blood was dripping from her mouth and was with a messy hairdo. Tears filled Fiza and Pari's eyes when they saw her state and also it made the infected Ashi confuse for a sec. Just then she attacked them but before she could bite any of them; Pari tied her with a rope she brought in case of emergency and stuffed a piece of cloth she tore from her clothes in her mouth and taped her mouth shut. All could the zombie do was just wriggle and see her surrounding. After this they took the infected Ashi with them to the lab.
Meanwhile Avni's side
Everyone were silent just waiting for Fiza and Yoon to come; suddenly Avni decided to break the silence and asked Yoon's Father aka Mr. Arief
Avni- Mister why did you do this? Like what made you invent this disaster.
Arief {Yoon's Father} - It was my plan... I wanted to rule this world by using the fungus cordyceps. Scientists had announced that it is not capable to infect humans... So I decided to gave it a try and I work on it for 10 years and finally it was prepared but the day I wanted to try this formula; I got to know that the formula was missing from my lab and when I checked the CCTV footage I got to know that it was Ryan who had stolen my formula. Man! I just hated this boy since he was 6.
Avni - Why did you hate your own son!
Arief {Yoon's Father} - I won't tell you that. Your are no one to ask.
Avni - Tell me or else...
She kicked his stomach and he hissed in pain
Arief {Yoon's Father} - It is because of an incident that happened 10 years ago that time I was in my lab with my wife Dita. We were working on something else but mistakenly I had put the wrong chemical and that time Dita was infront of the vessel. She was going to add some other chemical but.... Before she could do anything the chemical mixture burst on her face and she died instantly. I was so shocked and guilty and was feeling a little relived because no one was in the lab but to my horror Ryan was standing behind us at the door area. Before I could say anything he ran, before he could say anything I threatened him to not to say anything to anyone about this incident as... he was little he quickly agreed due to fear. But..but! He told that incident to his 'so - called bestfriend named Ashutosh'. So fortunately yet unfortunately, I had to kill that boy by visiting your unworthy school and I pushed him into your school pool, making it looked a suicide. I love Yoon because she was not like Ryan she ... is a good secret keeper. If she saw me doing illegal things then she would not say a word instead would just ask only few questions.
Suddenly Mina let out a horrifying sob. And she yelled at him as she pointed her finger at him.
Mina : He was my brother! Ashutosh was my brother! You killed him!! YOU KILLED HIM! I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU! YOU IMBECILE!
She was about to attack him but Manjula ma'am and Artika ma'am came to other's aid. She held her arms tightly preventing her to go anywhere. She struggled and yelled.
Mina : I would never spare you! Go to hell!
You are a monster!
Yoon's Father : See you there, Honey!
In frustration, she screamed her lungs out. Protesting hardly..She was sobbing, her nose was bleeding and her hair was mess! She protested so hardly that her toenails were bleeding! and her fingernails were almost detached from it's place making her fingers bleed and burn.
Manjula ma'am : Calm down Mina...calm down please..Calm down!
She stopped slowly and looked at her.
Manjula ma'am : Your tears won't bring your brother back! He is dead.. don't mourn about him over and over. Focus on your life.. focus on the present and future because the past will never be coming again or will be changed because of those tears and actions. Just accept his death and move on!
She stopped and stood up from ground, fading away to a dark corner for some alone time.
Yoon's Father : Really! She is just like Ryan! Stubborn and stupid..I guess the word 'Imbecile' suits him and that girl better.
I wish that girl mother would have got an impeccable daughter like mine.
Avni was in disbelief and thought that how could a parent hate his/ her child for a silly reason. Her blood boiled and she again kicked him.
Avni - How could you be so cruel man! I don't know about Yoon and Fiza but surely I will kill you first!
Yoon - Dad....I thought you as the best..How could you! I was a damn little child...oh goodness what have I done.
Arief {Yoon's Father}- Honey... it was not your fault.
Yoon - Of course it was my fault... it was my fault to believe you...I am ashamed to have a father like you! You are the worst person I have ever met in my life. You deserve to be dead instead of mum! You killed her! You.are.a.murderer!
