The perverse narcissist will never regret something he has done to you. To repent you have to accept that you have done something wrong. The perverse narcissist has never done anything wrong therefore he cannot repent. The perverse narcissist fabricates his own lie, believes his own lie, and makes others believe his lies.

There is no way to make a narcissistic perverse see that he is not right, he is not going to listen to you. When you see a perverse narcissist cries or pretends to regret, he did not do it for you, nor because he really regrets it, it is just one more performance on his part. The perverse narcissist can cry but he does it for him, to make others have mercy on him, it is not because he truly regrets. That is his personality.

If you give him the same opportunities again, he will do the same things that were hurting you. The same lie, the same deception, putting you back in the confusion, making others laugh and make fun of you. He will make you doubt your own reality again. He will do the same things to you over and over without regret.

You don't have to listen to him, you don't have to empathize with him. just listening to him, you are nurturing him. You treat the perverse narcissist well, you treat him badly, both for him are nutrients. You are his supplement.

By listening to him, by talking to him, you are giving him your energy to stay alive and continue to do harm.

Without you listening to the perverse narcissist there is no supplement. Please be kind to yourself, don't feed the perverse narcissist.
