PREACH THE WORD! BEGIN IN YOUR JERUSALEM.
*PREACH TO ALL NATIONS BEGINNING FROM YOUR JERUSALEM*
_*Luke 24:46-47 . Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.*_
After Jesus completed the work of salvation on earth, as he was departing, He told His disciples that it was very necessary for Him to come and die on the cross and rise again, because this was the miraculous work that brought the whole world salvation.
*BEGIN IN YOUR JERUSALEM*
He also mentioned that, it is necessary for His disciples to preach about the repentance and remission of sins to all nations (beginning in Jerusalem). Friends we are also disciples of Jesus by faith in Him. Therefore this mandate has been given to us too. That, we should preach the message of repentance and remission of sins from our Jerusalem to all nations. Our Jerusalem could be described as where we are residing, our home, our friends, and those close to us.
It will be wrong for a preacher to win others without winning his own close family. That’s why we must start in our Jerusalem then we can move to the uttermost part of the world.
So, friends start from where you are, share a word to a friend, brother or sister. Then wherever, whenever, to whomever share the word of God.
*THE MESSAGE OF REPENTANCE AND REMISSION OF SINS*
This message is simply the awareness that all men sinned from the beginning. Romans 3:23. God loves us so much that, send His only begotten Son to save us. Whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. John 3:16. But whoever does not believe in Him will be condemned. John 3:18.
There are some church goers who haven’t done this yet because the churches have been turned into businesses and the pastor’s have forgotten about the reason for which we must win souls. (For God and not for money). Well, my sister, my brother you and I can save souls into the kingdom of God by the help of the Holy Spirit of God. Let us ask Him for help in faith and He is ever ready to help us.
